Love INC Assisting Residents of Hershey Plaza

During Renovations

Renovations on all apartments at the Hershey Plaza will be taking

place through May of 2018. Most residents will be able to remain

in their homes but they will need to pack up smaller items such as

knick-knacks, kitchen items, and other personal belongings.

We have been receiving calls from Plaza Management requesting

packing assistance. We are currently putting together a pool of

church volunteers who are willing to assist Plaza residents with

this need.

This is a great opportunity to bring the love of Christ to neighbors

during an unsettling time. If you would like to help, please call the

Love INC office at 835-0101 or contact Scott Ramirez at

[email protected].

Homes of Hope Transitional Housing Update

HOMES OF HOPE is a new transitional housing program

being developed by the churches of Hershey, Hummelstown,

South and East Hanover, Conewago, and Londonderry Town-

ships through Love INC of Greater Hershey. The goal is to em-

power homeless or imminently homeless families to provide

sustainable housing for themselves and their families. Teams

are diligently working to have the house ready for a family by

November or December.

The added cost to the Love INC budget is approximately

$50,000 for this program. Donations for Homes of Hope can

be made online at loveincgreaterhershey.org or by sending

your check to Love INC, 245 E. Derry Road, Hershey, PA

17033.

If YOU HAVE QUESTIONS or would like to find out more information on how you and/or your church

can help, please contact Doug Miller at 835-0101 or [email protected].

A Note from Michelle Miduri, Connection Center Director

Words cannot express my gratitude for all of the support and prayers that have been extended to me and my family throughout the illness and passing of my husband, Kevin. It has been uplifting and encouraging and has carried us through this leg of our journey. Thank you to everyone who continues to pray as we carry on with him in our hearts.

Blessings, Michelle Miduri, Connection Center Director
