Our EngagementsDid you meet on the beach or at a friendʼs house? Do you like to frequent fine restaurants or do you both enjoy camping together? Our engagement sessions are tailor made to feature who you are as both a couple and as individuals, how you met, and what you enjoy doing together. Have some creative ideas? We love to collaborate! Sparrow and Nightingale prides itself on focusing on providing a relaxed, neutral environment for your session, a style and setting thatʼs specific to you, and elements that truly reveal the details of your love, all at a reasonable cost that fits within your budget.

Our WeddingsWhether itʼs in your own backyard or one thousand miles away on a mountaintop, Sparrow and Nightingale is always willing to travel for your big day. We always try to push above and beyond for each and every client, which is why we invented our “Chickadee Kit”, an emergency kit for each bride that includes everything she could possibly need at the last minute on the day of the wedding. If your beautiful little flower girls ripped their dresses just before the walk down the aisle, donʼt worry! The Chickadee Kit includes everything you would need in any emergency.

Maybe youʼve seen a specific photo in a magazine, online, or from a friendʼs wedding that you dream of having replicated for your wedding day. We love hearing and honoring your ideas and requests to make sure that every image from your big day is everything that youʼve dreamed of and more.

Consultations

Like what you see? Interested in finding out more, exploring your options, or meeting us face-to-face? We offer free consultations to all of our potential clients and we love to meet people in person. Feel free to bring a friend or family member along as well! During our consultations, we will cover what we offer, including a breakdown of our packages and their perks, what youʼre looking for in your images and how we can meet your needs. If you have ideas or concepts of what you would like your images to portray, feel

free to bring along examples for us to peruse. Weʼll find a way to work in what youʼre looking for in a way that results in images that can be cherished for a lifetime. Will you be bringing along children to your consultation? Or maybe you would like to be able to have a coffee or a snack? Perfect! All of our consultations are held at Aimeeʼs CoffeeHouse, located at 1025 Massachussetts Street in Lawrence, KS; a location that provides both food and drink, as well as a play area, should the little ones wish to tag along.

Deposits

Ready to book? Wonderful! Many clients ask if we take deposits on each of our bookings and when they are needed. You are always welcome to pay your deposit, which is 20% of your total cost, at your consultation. As soon as your deposit is in, your date is officially reserved!
