What kind of wood is used?The bed frame is made from locally sourced solid reclaimed Douglas fir. The lotus panel is made from recycled teak planks. No new wood is used. As a result the color may vary from that shown here and the panels may not form a perfectly smooth edge.

What kind of finish is used?The top surface is treated with four separate, non-toxic finishes. The wood is then pro-tected with clear wax.

Is assembly required?Yes. No tools required.

does the headboard attach to the frame?No, due to the height and weight of the headboard it must be attached to the wall by the home-owner in a fashion deemed secure for the home’s particular wall type. Mounting hardware is not included as wall material will vary, but we recommend using French cleats. We are sorry, but our White Glove service does not include attachment to the wall.

How high will the top of the bed be from the floor?With a standard mattress of 10", the top of the bed will be approximately 20" from the floor.

How should I clean the wood?Dust frequently with a clean, lint-free soft cloth. Turn the cloth often to avoid scratches. Blot spills immediately with a soft cloth or paper towel.

How long will it take to get my new bed?Approximately 8 weeks.
