We recently met with Brett Cammell (Manager Planning Strategies & Economic Development) and Jennifer Heyes (Manager Development Assessment) from the Town of Cambridge (Town) on 12 June 2018 to discuss development opportunities for the subject site. At this meeting it was noted that Harms Lane separates Lot 12 from Lots 11 and 19 and will require closure to facilitate land assembly and a consolidated development outcome. Harms Lane is formally described as Lot 15493 on Diagram 5704 and comprises part of Crown Reserve No.47749 under management order to the Town for a 'public accessway'. It is only 3.6m wide and has a total land area of approximately 123m 2 . A copy of the Crown Land Title is appended to this correspondence for your consideration. This letter constitutes our formal request that the Town commence a process to permanently close Harms Lane, and make necessary arrangements with the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (DPLH) for its sale to the adjoining owners of Lots 11 and 19 (242-250) Railway Parade and Lot 12 (2) Rosslyn Street, West Leederville. We understand this process will also require formal consultation with relevant stakeholders and adjacent landowners. We would be pleased to offer any assistance as necessary and appropriate to expedite this process. We look forward to receiving confirmation from the Town that this request has been received, and advice with respect to next steps/timeframes for the road closure process.
