The%LOST%Bracket%Challenge%was%created%under%the%

following%criteria:%

With!one!exception,!all!entries!are!human!beings,!and!

in!some!cases,!a!pair!of!human!beings.!Those!cases!(ex.!

Nikki!&!Paulo)!are!for!special!cases!when!two!characters!wouldnt!be!relevant!as!a!single!entity.!!

!

Ranking!was!done!on!a!1:68!chart!based!on!relevance!

of!the!role,!screen!time,!importance!to!the!story,!and!

personal!preference:!in!that!order.!!

After!the!spots!were!ranked!1:68,!each!entry!was!

placed!in!the!Bracket!in!the!same!style!as!Joe!Lunardi!

generally!presents!his!overall!seeding!for!the!NCAA!

Bracketology.!The!system!goes!like!this!The!number!one!overall!seed!is!represented!in!the!

ISLAND!REGION!(Jack),!number!two!in!the!SYDNEY!

REGION,!number!three!in!the!LOS!ANGELES!REGION,!

and!number!four!in!the!DHARMA!REGION.!The!best!

second!seed!is!then!placed!the!DHARMA!REGION,!and!

works!backwards!in!a!switchback!formula!until!we!get!

to!number!68,!Aldo.!

While!each!region!does!follow!the!general!theme!of!its!

title,!it!doesnt!always!work!exactly.!For!example..!there!are!a!lot!of!Dharma!members!in!the!DHARMA!REGION,!

but!it!isnt!ALL!Dharma!members.!
