Empezar

• The verb empezar must be followed by “a” and then an infinitive.

Decir

• Decir has an irregular “yo” form (digo). For the remainder of the conjugations, decir

follows the rules for an ei stem-changing verbs.

Pedir/Preguntar

• Pedir = to ask for, to request, to order (in a restaurant) / Preguntar = to ask a question
