Lord’s Public Address Script - Audition 2014 Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen. On behalf of MCC and Middlesex, welcome to Lord’s - the Home of Cricket, for the LV County Championship match between Middlesex and Nottinghamshire. Middlesex have won the toss and elected to bowl first. There are two changes to today’s scorecard, for Middlesex, at number three, Paul Stirling replaces Joe Denly. And for Warwickshire, at number eight, Andre Adams replaces Ajmal Shahzad. [repeat] To open the bowling for Middlesex, from the Nursery End, Tim Murtagh. 40 minutes for the Luncheon Interval. If you would kindly wait until the players have left the field we would like to invite you onto the playing area. May we ask you to keep well clear of the central area, as directed by the stewards, please do not bring on any glass or food items. It would be appreciated if you could be off the playing area by 1.35. May we ask you to make your way off the playing area as play will resume at 1.40 [repeat] In the interests of safety we ask you to keep your bags and belongings with you at all times. Thank you. Good morning, there has been no play due to rain. The umpires made an inspection at 11.30 and will continue to make further inspections. We will keep you in touch with any information. Play resumes tomorrow at 11am and we hope to see you then. In the meantime, have a safe journey home - good evening.
