Lords Lake Homeowners Association Together we can make this a Great place to live. The LLHA Board volunteers their time, so please participate! We are excited to announce that we are beginning the process of remodeling the LLHA Park. We are evaluating our options, and determining where the biggest impact can be made. We currently have two options in consideration, one of which to be executed in 2012. The options include a new gazebo which will emulate the one built at Lake Tye, and the other is to build an upgraded play set for children of the community. This will include infant and special needs seats on the swing, so everyone may be able to enjoy the park and have a good time. We can’t afford to do both options at the same time, so we would like your opinion at the Neighborhood BBQ! We will have a signup sheet for you to vote on your favorite option. Another ongoing project that has been on the agenda for a while is voting to officially change the CC&R’s to allow chickens in our Community. The LLHA Board has voted, and approved this request, and we need to gather the homeowners’ votes in order to amend the CC&R’s properly. Included in the Newsletter, you will find a voting ballot with a pre-stamped envelope. Please fill out the ballot, and return it with the envelope provided via US Mail to the LLHA Board no later than July 31 st . We will close the voting at that time and consider those that choose not to vote as an impartial party. Thank you - LLHA Board As we begin to ramp up the summer activities, we are all excited to improve our park & Neighborhood. Please let your voice be heard, and provide your thoughts! As part of our local summer celebration the Lord’s Lake Homeowners Association has scheduled our annual community barbeque and potluck for Saturday, July 23 rd from 12- 4pm at the Lords Lake park and common area located next to Lords Lake. The homeowners association will be serving beverages and cooking up hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone that stops by. The association has been hard at work planning new improvements to the common area and this is your chance to provide feedback in helping to shape the neighborhood around you! So come on out, bring your favorite potluck item and join the rest of your neighbors by the lake for some fun, sun* and food! * Sun is the occasional yellow orb in the sky and is not guaranteed, nor provided, by the Lords Lake Homeowners Association! www.llha.weebly.com SEE YOU ALL THERE !!!!!! We are excited to announce that we are beginning the process of remodeling the LLHA Park. We are evaluating our options, and determining where the biggest

Friendly Reminders As summer begs for the presence of more sun, we would

like to provide our neighbors with a few friendly reminders for a safe

and enjoyable season. Please remember to trim your trees so that the

branches are not more than 5 feet over the sidewalk, and not lower

than 8 feet from the ground so that our neighbors can enjoy their

walks on the soon to come warm summer nights.

Trees on the street sides should not reach lower than 14 feet

from the ground. All vegetation should be trimmed to the sidewalks

so as not to cover any of the walkway for pedestrians (Public works

    department, Monroe).

We would like to provide a notice to drivers in the

neighborhood to pleaser be conscious of your surroundings when

driving. With more sunny days ahead (WE HOPE), there will be

more kids and dogs playing in the neighborhood. While the city of

Monroe speed limit is 25mph, we would like to suggest drivers slow

down to a speed of 15mph in order to prevent any accidents.

Remember to complete those ever tasking chores such as

lawn mowing, weeding, moss control, and yard/alley clean up to

make sure your flowers are noticed.

If any neighbors would like assistance with their yard

maintenance, please feel free to contact the LLHA Board, and we

will do our best to help however we can.

If you would like to offer a helping hand to those living in

our community that are in need of assistance, Please contact the

    LLHA Board as well

Hey everybody, we're happy to be able to

call this neighborhood our new home! We

are Nick, Kris, Violet, and Lucy. Kris and

Nick have been married since 2008, and

welcomed Violet into the family last June.

Lucy is our mutt of two years. Nick works

as an actuary in Bellevue, Kris keeps the

    household running smoothly, Violet keeps

us busy, and Lucy mooches off of our vast

hospitality. We love the neighborhood so

far, and are looking forward to many good

    years to come!
