Join us for a week at CampPossAbility on July 25 (1pm) - July 31 (noon) at Bradford Woods, Martinsville, Indiana Camp PossAbility is an adapted camp for young adults ages 18-35 who have a typical high school diploma and require use of a wheelchair for mobility. Cost is $25 plus the cost of your background check. Food and lodging are included. Volunteers (DUOs) will be paired with a camper for the week. You will help with all activities of daily life (transfers, feeding, toileting, dressing, showering, etc. as needed) plus will participate in all activities of camp (alpine tower climbing, swimming, bellyaking, canoeing, and more) Exposure to the medical ﬁeld is helpful but not necessary. You will complete a day of training before campers arrive. Students in nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, medicine, and psychology will all get experience practical for future careers. Camp PossAbility is an adapted camp for young adults ages 18-35 who have a typical high school diploma and require use of a wheelchair for mobility.
