DESCRIPTION

Kuumba's 3rd annual lookbook.

Citation preview

round three

Wash U is known for a lot of things: our rigorous academics, our delicious food and our beautiful tulips. But one aspect that tends to go overlooked is our style. So Kuumba got together with some of the swankiest kids on campus — spanning every year, every school and every look. Then one sunny day we blasted some tunes, cooked some BBQ and had ourselves a little photo shoot at the Forsyth House for our third annual Kuumba Lookbook. From subtle details to dramatic statements, check out the way Wash U’s own expresses their sartorial creativity, and take a page out of their {look}book.

And, as always, Keep Crafting, Keep Creating and Keep Styling.

what is kuumba?

Kuumba TV was conceived out of a desire to unite the creative community on Wash U’s campus through visual stories — each story delving into a student’s work and their creative process. From the beginning Kuumba has been a WashU ‘community project’, one that is fueled by and in turn fuels creativity on campus.

As a site, Kuumba encompasses several different facets — dynamic video profiles, a blog to showcase the latest creative ventures of students and original media offering a special look into our peers’ creative endeavors and projects.

Within a year, the Kuumba network has become expansive. We’ve linked people together and built platforms for new collaborations, new creative energy. Take a look at what the creative community at WashU has to offer and inspire us.
