This book would not be possible apart from the rela-tional context given to me by God within a company

of people from across the Earth known as Congress WBN.These vital relationships have enormously enriched andshaped my life, and they form the substructure and the basisfor this work. I am specifically grateful for the ApostolicCore Team of the Congress who I am privileged to standamong: Dr. Noel Woodroffe, David Copp, AndersonWilliams, Steve Schultz and Paul Humberstone. Evenmore than the contributions each has made to my own life,it is who they are and what they represent as a corporateentity that I am most grateful for. In concert with manyoutstanding men and women who stand as leaders acrossthe ranks of our Congress in multiplied nations of theEarth, they are an authentic representation of correctleadership. I am continually grateful to God for aligning mewith such excellent humans.

Dr. Woodroffe especially has been a rich source ofspiritual impartation and deep friendship to me, and histrusted leadership, correct oversight and wise counsel aretreasured by me and my entire family. As the President ofCongress WBN, an apostle and a pioneer in this refor-mation, his influence upon me and upon this work is sig-nificant. Steve Schultz has been a superior friend for sev-eral decades, and he is my close collaborator in all thingsprophetic within our Congress. In addition to their lives,

I am grateful to both of them for their many contributionswhich appear throughout this text, usually without note.

The leaders and members of Elijah Centre Global(Nexus & Embassies) have faithfully aligned their lives tothe speaking of God and are a genuine demonstration ofthe principles in this book. In that sense the book was notdifficult to write, as all I had to do was look at their livesand record what I saw. The members of Elijah CentreEmbassy Atlanta are especially close to my heart.

Patrick Moo-Young and Naveen Ramnanan spenthours going over this manuscript and their editorial con-tributions have increased the clarity of this work. KhyronDanclair and Daniel Bodinof provided numerous mock upswhich led to the concept of the cover design, and Khyronalso created the graphic of the Architecture of the NewProphetic Dimension. Robin Attalla created the graphicsused in the chapter on Elevated Sight, perfectly capturingin visual form the ideas and spiritual realities spoken by Dr.Woodroffe in one of our prophetic training seminars inNairobi.

Chapter 1Introduction to Key Paradigms

Weare living in a day of significant change and transfor-mation. The Church across the Earth is being

impacted by the Apostolic Reformation, a global move ofGod that is re-structuring andmaturing the Church, prepar-ing it for its final, victorious conflict against the powers ofdarkness. TheKingdomofGod is powerfully arising across theEarth, impacting systems of thought and governance and pro-ducing massive advance and deep penetration in every juris-diction and people group of the Earth.

There is no geographic territory, socio-economicclass or ethnic group that is being excluded from this cur-rent reformation move of God. As it sweeps across everyquarter of the Earth, breaking long entrenched imbal-ances and providing access to everyone, both small andgreat, people groups from perceived inferior jurisdictionsare being deliberately and systematically included and in-corporated by God into His vast global purposes.1

Modern reformers are not marketing their message tofit within the ‘Christian’ global distribution network thatoriginates in the perceived superior jurisdictions of theEarth. In fact, in breaking with the traditional operations,activity and philosophies of the existing church, the power-ful reformation thrust within the ranks of these reformers

has invalidated much of what is considered to be the ac-ceptable activity of the modern Church. This presentReformation represents a new wineskin that contains thefresh initiatives released by God that will take us towardsthe Finish, a significant part of which is producing new def-initions and realities of the Prophetic dimension. Thisbook is written to provide insight into the shapes of theProphetic dimension as it exists in the 21st century.

Restoration of ApostlesThis global Apostolic Reformation has been initi-

ated by the emergence and correct functioning of apostles.The terms “apostle” and “reformation” are now extensivelyused in the modern Church. In many cases they describethe same reality which existed before the terms becamepopularized and widely adopted. In fact the declaration of“reformation” and “apostolic” to describe very dissimilarentities and vastly different spiritual realities has filled thechurch with “fuzz” and a lack of clarity about the presentspeaking of God. Jesus clearly heard the voice of His Fa-ther and declared that His “voice was for your benefit, notmine,” but some said that it thundered whereas others saidthat an angel had spoken2 — their perception was unclearand therefore they didn’t participate in the Divine initia-tive. Distortion of God’s speaking in the minds of peopleis one way the enemy opposes Kingdom advance.

Therefore, clear definitions that describe the work ofthese leaders must be provided, along with actual buildingactivity that attests to and validates a new order of ministry.The use of the word “apostle” here refers to wise masterbuilders who possess:

a) Power to breakthrough in the spirit realm and ex-perience resultant territorial expansion;

Page 13: Look Inside - The Architecture of the New Prophetic Dimension

3

Introduction to Key Paradigms

b) Ability to build global relational networks and in-ternational entities unhindered by national or culturalnorms that leverage the strength of many from across theEarth towards singular Kingdom purpose;

c) Insight into the mind of God regarding the accu-rate blueprints for correct human life, and the power toconstruct those designs in the lives of people;

d) Capability to leverage insight and building strate-gies into the wider expressions of the Kingdom of God andresultant influence into ex-church structures and systemsof the Earth;

e) Powerful revelation capacity and the ability to openthe eyes of the people and to build within them correctperception systems;

f) Ability to strip the prophetic promises of their futur-istic dimension and execute the will of God in the present.

This effective release of ministry through credibleapostles has produced immense renovation in the Body ofChrist and created a dramatically different framework inwhich the Prophetic functions. There are four key para-digms that have changed as the Apostolic dimension hasbeen powerfully restored by God, and they must be under-stood for the Prophetic dimension to function correctly.

Key Paradigm 1:Divine Order

The Apostolic Reformation has returned the Churchto its proper arrangement, and this new divine order hasrevolutionized the context in which all other ministriesfunction. The restoration and accurate operation of apos-tles enables the effective functioning of the Church as in-dicated by Paul in describing the design and the order ofthe Body of Christ:

Page 14: Look Inside - The Architecture of the New Prophetic Dimension

4

The Architecture of the New Prophetic Dimension

And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles,second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles,also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others,those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in dif-ferent kinds of tongues.

Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Doall work miracles?

Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues?Do all interpret?

But eagerly desire the greater gifts.1 Corinthians 12:28-31

The word “appointed” is the Greek word titheemi,meaning “to set, to make, or to put in place.” It also ap-pears inMatthew 22:44 where the Father tells the Son, “Sitat my right hand until I make (titheemi) all your enemiesyour footstool.” In both uses there is an ascribing of di-rect ownership of the action taken by God Himself, i.e.,“God has set” and “I will make.” God has definite re-quirements regarding how the Body of Christ is to bearranged, and He has established and set ministries in theChurch according to His own predetermined design. Theinitial thing we learn about this design is that apostles are“first,” the Greek word proton, which means first in time,place, influence, rank and order. The word can be under-stood from its use by John the Baptist in describing his re-lationship with Christ:

John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “Thiswas He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferredbefore me, for He was before (protos) me.’”

John 1:15 (NKJV)Jesus came after John in time, but John recognized

that He was actually before (protos) him. Used by John inthis context, it can be understood as the prophet saying that

Page 15: Look Inside - The Architecture of the New Prophetic Dimension

5

Introduction to Key Paradigms

Jesus was “the first of me” or “first in regard to me.” Thewords titheemi and protos indicate that God has set a law inplace concerning the arrangement of the Body of Christwhich places apostles as first in rank.

The “first-ness” of the apostolic is not to be under-stood as hierarchal in nature. In reality the presence ofgenuine apostolic headship exposes false forms of leader-ship such as hierarchy and the incorrect emphasis on apos-tolic authority as that which rules over every other min-istry. “First” does not mean that apostles are more favoredby God than the rest of the Body, or that that the apostolicis a more essential aspect of the expression of Christ in theChurch. There can be no superior or inferior dimensionsof Christ.

The emergence of credible apostles as “first” has re-quired a significant re-shuffling of the rest of the Body ofChrist, including an enhanced redefinition of the prophetswho are noted as “second.” Let us imagine the five gov-ernmental ministries (apostles, prophets, pastors, evangel-ists, teachers) as an ascending staircase. If prophets (secondstep) are functional, but apostles (first step) not yet restoredand existent, what does that make the prophet? Is theprophet now first? Clearly that cannot be because God de-clares that he is second. Is the prophet second? That wasnot a functional reality because the first was not yet in place.

The result was that in the last prophetic order,prophets operated outside of the parameters of opera-tional apostolic ministry, which had not yet been fully re-stored. Prophets thus lacked key definition of their iden-tity that the Apostolic was designed by God to provide.Since all other ministries existed before the “first” was re-stored and functional, a recognition and acceptance of thedivine law of “first apostles” is not primarily a focus on asingular ministry, but an acceptance of new definitions

and divine order throughout the entire Body of Christ.The resources of heaven are being released into a globalChurch which is finally being configured and ordered ac-cording to the laws of heaven!

Key Paradigm 2:Sight of the Finish

“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sentme and to finish his work.

Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the har-vest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! Theyare ripe for harvest.”

John 4:34,35In this passage three powerful realities are connected:a) A core operational value of the apostolic is sent-ness;

the word “apostle” means a sent one, or one sent forth withorders;

b) The clear implication that the one who is sent hasa specific destination or point of accomplishment — Jesuscalled this destination “to finish his work;”

c) The successful arrival of a sent one is based on ac-curate sight, implying that it is deficient systems of per-ception that wars against successful completion of the Fin-ish of all things.

Jesus had a specific destination (finishing the work), andthe corporate Body of Christ has a clear objective to reachthe place of immortality. The operational values and prin-ciples which empower a matured Church to move towardsthis ultimate destination is what altogether we are calling theFinish. This present Reformation is not simply anothermove of God meant to restore truth to His Church, butwhich will eventually become stale and obsolete. It is the ul-timate movement towards the Finish that keeps unpacking

itself and which requires mobility andmigration of the peo-ple of God as we journey back to our correct state in God.An apostolic people are those who have sight of the Finishas their ultimate destination and who relentlessly engage inmigration and a willing enactment of a process of death toself in order to get there.

Gifting vs. Sight of the Finish“And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to

Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there.I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me

that prison and hardships are facing me.However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only

I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesushas given me — the task of testifying to the gospel of God’sgrace.”

Acts 20:22-24There is a difference between prophesying out of

one’s gifting verses having an expansive view of the realityof the eternal dimension which comes when Reformationprophets “lift up their eyes and look.” This was the issuefaced by Paul during his travels to Jerusalem when he re-ceived a series of accurate prophetic warnings which re-peatedly cautioned him of imprisonment and suffering.There is a direct comparison here: the prophets prophe-sied, but Paul was compelled by the singular motivation ofthe Finish.

A review of Paul’s route indicates stopovers in morethan 12 cities where prophetic words were given inchurches that Paul himself had planted, all of which pre-dicted that he would suffer.3

Page 18: Look Inside - The Architecture of the New Prophetic Dimension

4 Acts 21:45 Acts 21:116 Acts 21:147 2 Timothy 4:78 Elevated sight will be discussed more fully in chapter 3.

8

The Architecture of the New Prophetic Dimension

In the city of Tyre some went so far as to prophesythat Paul should not go to Jerusalem. Paul promptly dis-missed this prophetic utterance, choosing to ignore it andindicate his disagreement by departing from his brothersand continuing his relentless trek towards Jerusalem.4

Agabus, a prophet with an established track record,made it clear that once Paul arrived in Jerusalem he wouldbe seized by the authorities and cast into prison.5

Based on these multiple prophetic warnings and theircare for the beloved apostle, credible leaders within theapostolic company begged Paul to the point of tears not togo to Jerusalem, but he unconditionally refused so they fi-nally gave up and said “the will of the Lord be done.”6

Paul assessed the prophetic words within the contextof the mandate to Finish, and he allowed nothing to diverthim from the accurate destination implicit within the di-vine sending. After being arrested as the prophets had pre-dicted, he wrote “I have fought the good fight, I have fin-ished the race, I have kept the faith”.7

Sight of the Finish is the highest order of propheticrevelation, and one who sees the Finish is greater than onewith an accurate prophetic gift.8 All prophetic insight mustbe understood within the proper worldview and context forlife — the command to Finish. The danger is to be a veryaccurate predictor of events, but still function within a tem-poral view set within the false paradigm of mortality. Wemust have prophets who have seen the Finish as part of anapostolic company whose corporate process involves re-lentless movement towards the authorized destination.

Page 19: Look Inside - The Architecture of the New Prophetic Dimension

9 Architecture will be examined more fully in chapter 4.

9

Introduction to Key Paradigms

Key Paradigm 3:Clarity of Design/Architecture

By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation asan expert builder, and someone else is building on it. Buteach one should be careful how he builds.

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one al-ready laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:10,11The grace received from God made Paul a wise mas-

ter builder, which is the Greek sophos architekton, fromwhich we get the English word “architect.” By virtue ofhis calling to the Apostolic, grace was imparted to Paul thatsupplied him with: a) insight into the design of what Godwas building, and b) empowerment to construct what hehad seen in the lives of others. Paul declared that he laidthe foundation based on his perception of the correctshapes, and that “another” builds on it. “Another” is theGreek word allos, meaning “another of the same kind,” in-dicating that all who build must possess the apostolic fre-quency and blueprint. Therefore, relationship to theApostolic makes all others architectural and releases aquality demand for all that associate with it so that “eachone should be careful how he builds.”

The Apostolic has produced a conscious awareness ofarchitecture within the Body of Christ. A Prophetic di-mension which is in relationship to the Apostolic gains un-derstanding of the issues of design which empowers in-teraction with God on more powerful levels. This volumeis written to make known the architecture of the Propheticdimension, an awareness that exists via relational proxim-ity to a restored and powerful Apostolic reality.9

Page 20: Look Inside - The Architecture of the New Prophetic Dimension

Key Paradigm 4:The Power to Build

So the elders of the Jews continued to build and prosperunder the preaching of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah,a descendant of Iddo. They finished building the temple ac-cording to the command of the God of Israel....

Ezra 6:14The reformation under Ezra and Nehemiah pre-fig-

ures several important realities of building which are ac-tive within this present Reformation. The participation ofcredible prophets is vital to the correct building of King-dom communities, systems and people. Every trueprophet has been coded by God to be a builder, and theywill not be satisfied until they are accomplishing thatwhich God has commissioned them for. For effectivebuilding to occur there must be collaboration and seam-less joining of ministries; therefore, all leaders must not besimply gifted, but also relationally healthy. There must bea refusal to live in isolation.

Building is a long term process which requires strate-gic activity and sustained obedience to a command. The im-plication is for vast strategic activity which occurs outside ofa church service, so real management, discipleship andbuilding of people must occur. God has released the powerto build and to finish the work according to His command.We live in a time when people are responding toGod’s com-mand to build according to design and Finish!10

These key paradigms provide understanding of thechanges that God has brought to the global Church, andrecognition that God is releasing fresh competence and au-thority within this new Prophetic dimension!

The Architecture of the New Prophetic Dimension

10

10 The nature of building will be explored in chapters 2 and 10.
