Because you are under medical supervision it is important that you discuss any side-effects of your treatment and possible adverse reactions to grooming products with your doctor. Look Good Feel Better

(LGFB) is an international cancer support charity, formed in the UK in 1994 to specifically help people combat the visible side-effects of their cancer treatment. The overall aim is to greatly increase confidence and self-esteem and give people back an element of control during treatment.

• Since launching, LGFB has helped over 150,000 people face to face across the UK

• 19,500 are supported annual through Workshops and Masterclasses and many thousands more through online and self-help materials

• Skincare and make-up Workshops for Women and Young Adults are held in over 100 hospitals and cancer care centres across the UK

Looking good can help you feel better – physically and emotionally - and feeling better can put you in charge. Maybe it’s an important event. A family outing. Saturday night with friends. A big meeting. The list goes on. Whatever you want to do, you shouldn’t have to compromise because you don’t look or feel quite yourself.

In fact, doctors agree that reducing the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment can be the start towards a more positive outlook.

Over the past two years cancer support charity Look Good Feel Better has been researching what kind of things people might need some help with. Groups of men undergoing cancer treatment all over the UK have given us their advice and shared their concerns and experiences and our “Skin Fitness” Workshops have evolved from that accumulated knowledge.

Sign up to a session now and we’ll help you with grooming basics like simple cleansing and moisturising to help with skin issues and shaving advice specifically geared towards some of the challenges you may be facing during your treatment.

Our Workshops are informative and fun and you’ll be given a generous gift bag of products, all donated by our member companies and brands.
