Looe Golf Club was established in 1935. The course was designed by the legendary six times Open champion, Harry Vardon. It is a heath and parkland course commanding panoramic views of the Cornish coast and countryside.The 18-hole course measuring 5,940 yards is constructed around Bin Down which is a high point for the area and as a result has some truly spectacular views. It provides an excellent test of golf for all abilities from beginners to established golfers.

Visitors are always welcome at Looe and can be assured of a testing round of golf, with the wind playing a major role in whether you have a good round or not.On completion of your round, retreat to the bar to enjoy a drink whilst you dissect your game with fellow golfers or take in a bar snack or meal prepared by our in house caterers.

We pride ourselves on having an active membership with a full schedule of competitions for men, ladies, seniors and juniors aimed at players of all standards.

• Golf union affiliation fees, which are VAT exempt, are payable by all golf members regardless of membership of other golf clubs. The affiliation fee quoted is an average individual total contribution across the various unions involved (EGU, CGU, LGU, ELGA, CLCGA) based on 2012 figures.

• Junior Golf is available to those under 18 at renewal date and Intermediate Golf to those 18 or over, but under 22, at renewal date.

• Please note there is currently a waiting list for those applying for membership and an Enrolment Fee of £100 for Full, Intermediate or Country Golf. For Junior Golf, the Enrolment Fee is £25.

The clubhouse offers great comfort and a welcoming atmosphere to socialise and relax after a round of golf. The bar is well stocked with a wide selection of beers, wines, and spirits and for a choice of non-alcoholic beverages. Hot and cold food is served daily seven days a week. You can enjoy a good selection of snacks at the bar or dine in our restaurant serving delicious daily specials and full three-course meals.

BARRIE EVANS PGA PROFESSIONALBarrie is a qualified PGA Golf Professional and has almost ten years’ coaching experience, providing tuition to golfers of all abilities. He has worked at Looe Golf Club for the past 14 years and thoroughly
