Editor’s Notes……..

Good news………it’s a lot quieter on Main Street. Bad news…….it’s because the roads closed again. Worse news…….maybe closed for 5 weeks. Even worse……no bus service through Long Whatton, although pressure is being applied for a temporary shuttle service.

As I write this the A6 is closed at night and on the 12th May (Race Night at the School please note) the M1 will be closed. What with Kegworth Lane being closed it’s a wonder we can still get around at all.

Who’ll be watching the Royal Wedding? Why not celebrate this with your neighbours at a Tea Party at the School on Sunday the 20th – see page 16.
