Dreamliner FeaturesFuel-efficient: The most fuel-efficient aircraft ever produced for commercial aviation with a per passenger consumption that is up to 20 percent lower than other aircraft of similar size.

Reduced jetlag: Use of aircraft materials that make it possible to increase the pressure in the cabin so that it is equivalent to the air pressure on lower heights. On conven-tional aircraft, the pressure in the cabin is set to simulate 8,000 feet; on the Dreamliner, the pressure at 6,000 feet, which increases the amount of oxygen passenger receive and reduces typical jet-lag symptoms such as headaches and muscle pain.

Lower emissions: The aircraft has an expected release of about 60-65 grams of CO2 per seat kilometer. In compari-son, a Toyota Prius has an emission of 95 grams per kilometer.

Less turbulence: Equipped with new technology that prevents turbulence and vibration. Tests show that air sickness and related discomfort is reduced by eight times when flying the Dreamliner.

LED Lighting: Includes dynamic LED lighting that makes it possible to simulate diurnal rhythm on long flights, providing passengers with a more comfortable journey.

Lower noise levels: New engines and aircraft design allow for significantly reduced noise levels both inside and outside the aircraft.

Fast: Passengers on flights from the U.S. to Scandinavia will, for instance, have 20 to 30 minutes less travel time compared to the same flights on other aircraft.

Greater range: This aircraft can fly more than 1,000 miles farther than the nearest competing aircraft, which means greater potential expansion plans for Norwegian’s long-haul route network.
