The Faculty at London School of Mediation is passionate about mediation and its role in business, for the workplace, in commercial and insurance disputes, medical matters, the community, property, employment and human rights.
Our NOCN-approved courses are not just for lawyers: usually 50% of places are taken by non-lawyers. They are for people keen to learn the skills of mediation and to apply them anywhere in the civil or commercial context, around the world. Our policy is one of inclusion and diversity with career-long support: if you are committed to the process then you will find we are with you.
There is no age limit high or low, the course is skills-based and builds on all the experience of the varied participants. All you need is an interest in people and in assisting individuals, groups, and organisations find solutions which may sometimes appear intractable and always challenging.

We believe that the level of interaction should be as high as possible and so we have balanced the need for teaching with considerable emphasis on the practical side of matters. Our trainers are practicing mediators and so are always up to date with current practice and have a firm eye on the required skill sets which we ensure you learn in the three days of training and demonstrate during the two day of the assessment phase which is independently assessed.
We work globally and apart from the UK, we can name South Africa, Ireland, India, the Caribbean, and New Zealand as recent destinations with Dubai, Botswana, the US, and Spain planned for the future.
We are looking at new courses all the time, including Cambodia, Beirut and Abu Dhabi - so please get in touch if you would like us to come to you and help create something special.
