Later, visit St. Paul’s Cathedral with your Tour Manager. (D)Mar 6, 2016: LondonYour Tour Manager shows you the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace before taking you on an inside visit of the British Museum. The afternoon is free for exploration;perhaps visit the Tower of London or one of the city’s many museums. (B,D)Mar 7, 2016: BayeuxVisit mysterious, prehistoric Stonehenge before continuing to the seaside town of Portsmouth, where you board the ferry to France, porterage included. After dinner aboard the ferry, drive to Bayeux for a night’s rest. (B,D)Mar 8, 2016: BayeuxThis morning delve into Normandy’s history beginning at Arromanches, including entrance to the 360 Degree Cinema, where you will learn about Operation Overlord and how it was a turning point in WWII. Continue to Colleville-sur-Mer to pay tribute at the American Cemetery and Museum and picture the chaos of June 6, 1944 at the shell-scarred cliffs of Pointe du Hoc. INC Arromanches 360. Return to Bayeux for dinner. (B,D)Mar 9, 2016: BayeuxThis morning visit the great island abbey of Mont St. Michel and explore this important medieval pilgrimage site which is still as breathtaking as it was centuries ago. (B,D)Mar 10, 2016: ParisThis morning depart for Paris. This afternoon, your Tour Manager shows you the city’s most famous monuments—from Notre Dame to the Arc de Triomphe. In the evening perhaps explore the Latin Quarter or mingle with artists in the bohemian Montmartre neighborhood. (B,D)Mar 11, 2016: ParisThis morning visit the Musee des Invalides. The afternoon is free to visit the Musée d’Orsay. Tonight take the metro to the Eiffel Tower for views of Paris from the 3rd Floor. (B,D)Mar 12, 2016: DepartureDepart for the USA.
