Community & Civic Engagement London is Calling! Join other Auburn University students for the opportunity to live and learn in London one of the leading global cities in the world! A Roman town, a trade center, city of poets, of kings and queens, cathedrals and traditions, London is a capital city of 8 million people originating from all corners of the globe. Straddling the River Thames, it covers more square miles of elegant square, green parks, museums, monuments, and elegant shopping streets than you could hope to explore in a lifetime. This is an ongoing program with sessions available every semester. Program Inclusions: Optional part-time Internship placements in any discipline Choice of contextual courses for up to 9 Auburn Credits (6 for Summer) Social Dynamics of London: Contemporary Issues through Service Learning course with community based field placements *Includes: Analyzing and Exploring the Global City: London - Modernity Empire and Globalization course which connects students through CAPA Global Cities’ Network * Tuition and Course Fees Arrival Program Orientation Arrival Reception and Departure Party Local Walking Tour and half-day Panoramic City Coach Tour Choice of accommodation in shared flats (apartments) or home stays Weekly meal stipend provided or breakfast and dinner with host family Auburn University Community
