His efforts made a distinct contribution to the success of coalition forces in Operation IRAQI FREEDOM and the US Embassy’s humanit arian and reconstruction effort s of Iraq. •  Worked with Lt Baum on over $ 10.5 million LOTDs

•  Processed over 20 DCMA work requests and service requests

•  Worked with KBR to establish a Special Order conex located just behind theOffice Supply Store vs walking to the river to pick up paper and other specialorder items

•  Worked with David Bennett, from RSO on a $1.88 million package and helpedguide him in what to present to the RAP. That resulted in 30 Suburbans beingmodified to a Prototype spec and also the purchase of 59 LeBac Armor kits tosupply the outlying Regional Embassy Offices in Iraq with Armored vehicles.

•  Assisted Operations OIC with inbound and outbound personnel pick-up anddepartures.

•  Took vehicles to dispatch to get their weekly service and checks. Fueled andwashed

•  In February was assigned the job of QAR with no training and tapped 2experience QARs for a quick run-down and for support.

o  Discovered that the Wash Rack Operations were washing 80% too many

vehicles that they were not getting credit for 

o  Discovered that KBR had NO WATER OPERATIONS as outlined in the

SOPs

o  Discovered that KBR had let the MRE supplies exceed the 80 degree

limit last Spring and Summer.

o  Discovered that KBR was having the QARs sign off on things not

completed or not done at all

o  Discovered that the Palace DFAC should have major repairs done to

comply with basic hygiene levels for a kitchen

o  Signed off on $ 2 million in completed work.

•  Resurrected some important projects ($1 Million) that were killed by State andthe second submission they actually agreed to let the project go through.

•  Attended Hard Car meeting to discuss

•  Brought to the ACOs attention that the Gurkhas have been traveling to BIAP in"Soft Cars" when the rule has been that since October 04 - No Soft Cars in theRed Zone and that they now only have 36 vehicles for 1000 + employees-woefully short. They also have 8 vehicles that need to be accounted for (3totaled ones turned in to be cannibized and 2 to get repaired - others are lost or stolen and need paperwork 

•  Also Gurkhas are living 6 to a trailer and 90 to a tent - same recipe for the

 November disaster that came in the form of 2 rockets - 4 KIA and 18 WIA
