Route followed to target was ease~tially as briefed with Group in proper position in Dinsion c olUilD and was without incident. W•ther Scouting Foroe gave target area as being covered with a thillllltgraund base therefore reoC~Dended instrument run 1rl th visual a .. ilt - this wa.a followed and a. oocaplished.

"I uokeye" suggested naua.l bombing and that the run should begin using GH due to the has e. ~e lead squadron uncGvered at the IP and the GH operator began his run. lhe target could be picked up 10 mil•• prior to bombs away. The bombardier iluaediately took onr from the GH operator. the run was diftioult due to hase and the C-1 being out. A tt!lflf oorreoti ons were made and bombs sal voed a t 1617. Hi t1 were ob1erved to be right of the MPI.
Even through the grCUDd base which wa1 pr•aent the bombardier waa able to p i n point tram the IP in to the tarcet. !he target was picked up and synchronisation becan, molt of the data was pre set therefore the bombi ng problem was practiotlly aolvecl. Bambi were away at 151 , a fflfl seconds after the high 1quadron released. Results were ellloellent

Even though the base was bad the bombardier waa able to pin point without too much diftioiLlty. 1'he C-1 "WOrked well and bombs were away at 1518. Result• were obsernd to be &ood.
