• The protective casing pipe is made of low density polyethylene (PE-LD)

• LOGSTOR FlexPipes are available with service pipes of PEX, PEX/aluminium/PE, copper or steel, making it suitable for transportation of all kinds of liquids

• The insulation material is flexible polyurethane foam (PUR) with guaranteed insulation properties of lambda 0.022 W/mK

• Between the casing pipe and the PUR insulation LOGSTOR FlexPipes are fitted with a diffusion barrier to prevent diffusion of cell gases. Thus the pipes retain the same high insulation properties throughout their entire service life

The choice of service pipe depends on the temperature and pressure of the individual pipe system.

PexFlex is also available for hot and cold domestic water supplies.

The pipes are avail able in coils of 50 or 100 meters, what minimizes the number of joints required.

LOGSTOR’s flexible pipe systems are avail able both as single and twin pipe solu-tions. LOGSTOR TwinPipes are particular-ly energy and cost-effective as heat loss is reduced to an absolute minimum – typical-ly by up to 48 percent, depending on the dimension. In addition, installation of Twin-Pipes require less space and less joints, reducing installation costs considerably.

Flexible, pre-insulated pipe systems are used for branch pipes in district heating pipelines. But they are also advantageous for smaller district heating systems with their own heat source, such as in summerhouses, pools, garages, greenhouses, market gardens, farms and residential areas. LOGSTOR’s product range includes four flexible systems:

FlexPipes are supplied in coils of 50 or 100 meters.

As an option PexFlex can be supplied in fixed lengths of between 10 and 90 meters.

Optimum insulation properties and durability in a flexible packingDue to the flexibility of the service pipes in the LOGSTOR FlexPipe systems, they absorb the effects of temperature fluctuations and eliminate any need for expansion measures.

Casing pipes and insulation material are also flexible and the FlexPipes can be bent on site to fit into any trench.

FlexPipes are laid in traditional trenches or by means of tunnelling techniques, dependent on the surroundings and the soil.
