This water treatment systemhas been designed o provideyour

operatewithout he need or regular naintenathan he additionof a
regenerantf the system equires. hese nstructions rovide he
binformation eeded o operate he system's
ontrolvalve.NormalOperationDuringnormalvalve operation, he 740
willdisplay he time of day. The 760 will attematthe time of day,
and the volumeof water remaining in gallonsor cubic meters)belore
hsystemwill need o regenerate.Manual RegenerationThere may be times
hatyou would ike o start a manual egeneration. hisoverride
eausedwhenyouwould ike o refreshhe system'smediabed belore he
automatic ontrolregeneration. hereare wo typesof manual
egeneration:1. lmmediate egeneration:ressand hold he REGENbutton
or5 seconds o start.2. DelayedRegeneration: ress he
REGENbuttononce.This willcausea regeneratiat the nextset
regenerationime.While n regeneration,he controlwill display he
total regenerationime remainingn minrecommendedhatyou minimizehe
amountof waterused any waterused s not trearegeneration.Setting the
ClockThesystemcontroller as an 8 to 24-hourbuiltin back up system o
maintain he timeol dpower s out longer han 8 hours, he time s
lostand needs o be reset.To reset:1. Press he SET button. he
displaywill lash12:00.2. Use he UP or DOWN buttons o advance o the
correct ime. Note:There s a PM nbut no AM ndicator.3. Press he SET
button o accept he time of day selected.4. The controlwill advance
o the DAY OF WEEK setting.Setting the DAY OF WEEKThe controller an
be set for the specificday of the week. t is importanto set this or
prosystem peration. cursorwil lbe displayed nder SU "(Sunday).1.
Press he SET button o make he cursor lash.2. Use he UP or DOWN
buttons o advance he flashing ursorunder he correctday oweek.3.
Press he SET buttonagain o accept he changes.The systemshouldbe in
operation. he settings hatwereprogrammedwill be used.BypassMode lf
SystemNeedsServicingMostwater reatment ystemswill be plumbedwitha
systembypass.A waterbypass s usthe system s beingmaintained, r if
the systemdevelopsa leak.To put the system n by
Valve Bypass - Rotate he two bypassdialscounterclockwiseo the
"bypass"position. f theyare difficult o turn,a pliersor wrenchmay
be used.The systemwilbypassed.Waterwill notenter he valvebut, he
pressuren the tank will remain.Cyour nstalling ea ler or immediate
