I received a mini-grant for an overhead graphing calculator and display and it is AWESOME! I use it everyday! Having the overhead display makes it so that students can follow along on their own calculators and I can also plug their calculators into the display to share student responses. Such a dream! Joyce Smart—LHS Math Teacher
Partners in Education: The Foundation facilitates gifts from local businesses and private individuals who donate money, time and other resources to assist with a variety of academic, athletic and fine art events. Classroom MiniGrants: Teachers are able to apply for educational enhancement funds in the form of minigrants up to $500. These monies are used to purchase programs and/or materials for innovative classroom enhancements. Students in Need: Many students are benefitted through funding of educational supplies and eyeglasses allowing them to focus on education instead of outside needs. Student Fellowships and Scholarships: Through the generous contributions of community donors, the Foundation is able to offer scholarships for graduating seniors as well as fellowships for secondary students.
