ANTARESNew generation local situational awareness & softkill

OVERVIEWWar on asymmetric enemies and modern conventional threats, present a significant danger for friendly armoured fighting vehicles and infantry fighting vehicles. Consequently, these vehicles need an early threat detection function for potential threats including anti-tank weapons and improvised explosive devices. To carry out that function, close observation around the vehicle and laser warning detection has become mandatory to meet the modern battle stakes. Antares answers this requirement with a single, suprahemispheric, high-resolution sensor.

APPLICATIONS Self-protection against close-in threats Local Situational Awareness Rear-view / Driving aids External view before exiting the vehicle

FEATURES AND BENEFITS High resolution sensor: 5.5 Megapixels associated

with distortion-controlled fish-eye optics for outstanding range performance

Day & Night: passive from sunlight to night level 2 with a unique Low Light Level CMOS sensor; up to full darkness with an (optional) IR illuminator

High dynamics: no blooming due to the Sun, lamps or headlights

Panoramic field of view: coverage of complete surroundings, including threats high above ground

Real time video: low latency allowing on the move operation

High accuracy laser warning system, -/+ 1.5° Independent displays: allowing crew and dismounts to select their own observed zone and display mode

Easy integration: with only one box set above armour High reliability: no moving parts

OPTIONS A second Antares unit can be positioned to suppress

potential blind spots and provide redundancy BatCam point-blank range vision kit; 6 low-light

sensors Integrated illuminator for full darkness
