Buying a home or some land in Hawaii is a challenging process and I am here to help you find your own perfect slice of Paradise! I grew up in a small town in Illinois and enlisted in the USAF when I graduated high school. I began my military career as an aircraft mechanic and eventually became a C-5 Aircraft Flight Engineer. I have lived in Europe and several different states. I have been to the most amazing (and sometimes not so amazing) places on the planet. I retired from the USAF after 27 years of service with a BS in Behavioral Science with a minor in Criminal Justice and 4 FAA airman ratings. I also enjoy, surfing, hiking, camping and riding my motorcycle every chance I get! After retirement, my wife Jodi and I decided the Big Island was the perfect place to begin the next chapter of our lives. We live with our daughter Natasha, son Gabe and two chocolate labs in the Mountain View rain forest area. Some veterans slow down after retiring from the military but apparently slowing down is just not in my nature. I continue to be a singer/songwriter and performer, I own and operate an aerial photography business with my son, I am the President of Fern Acres Community Association, a FEMA certified Community Emergency Response Team member and a Neighborhood Watch Captain. My previous career has provided me the opportunity to see the world and work with people from every walk of life and now I bring this lifetime of experience, professionalism, integrity and dedication to the Local Hawaii Real Estate Team.
