Cutting the coach costs

Schools are sometimes deterred from visiting the museum by the high costs of acoach. Here are some suggestions from us on how you can cut costs.

1. The museum is only 15 minutes walk from Chertsey Station, so if you are able to walk to your local station, or even getparents to drop their children at the station rather than at school,it will work out much cheaper ona group child train ticket.

2. Although we can only take 32 children maximum in the museum at one time we cantake groups back to back. You may chose to bring 2 classes inthe day, as one leaves late morning, the second arrives to eat a picnic lunch before starting their session.

3. We are very flexible at the museum to fit in with you. Some schools choose to get parents to drop off and pick up direct from the museum. This is fine with us, we can open our doors early so you canbe here ready to greet the children and when everyone has arrived we can start the session.
