THIEVES GET $275 IN CASH

Thieves in Rockcastle Coun-ty have done well at their "trade" in ' the last few weeks.

About $275 belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Barnett was taken several days ago 'from Mrs. Barnett's purse left lying on a bed in their home.

Mrs- Bamett said the money and various papers-were taken between 2:30 p. m., and 5 p. m., while they were work-ing in the store.

As reported previously, thieves entered the home of Russell McFerron in Mt. Vernon and took $912 while he was away visiting friends.
