Montana law requires school districts and other public agencies to include

on the agenda for public meetings an item allowing public comment on

any public matter not otherwise specifically listed on the agenda that is

within the jurisdiction of the agency. As has also been the practice of the

District, and in accordance with Montana law, if any member desires to

speak to an item that is specifically listed/identified on the agenda, you

will be allowed to do so when the item comes up for discussion and ac-

tion. Comments regarding items specifically listed/identified on the agen-

da will have a time limit set by the Board Chair.

The public comment portion of the agenda is not the time designated to

hear items that are specifically listed/identified on the agenda. For those

individuals who desire to address the Board during the “public comment”

portion of the meeting, if you haven’t already done so, please sign your

name to the sheet located at the back of the room and indicate the general

topic on which you will be commenting. The board chair person will call

individuals to speak in the order listed on the sheet provided.

The board would like to remind everyone in attendance that to avoid vio-

lations of individuals rights of privacy, a member of the public wishing to

address the Board during this time will not be allowed to make comments

about any student, Staff member, or member of the general public during

his/her designated time to speak. In addition, the board will not hear com-

ments on contested cases or other adjudicative proceedings.

Dear Don Viegut,

CC: Lynne Scalia, Lori Dust and Dorel Hoglund

This letter is to inform you that I have accepted a job in the Belgrade School District to be closer to my family. I am resigning from my position as a special education teacher at Sleeping Giant Middle School. I would like to thank you for the last three years of employ-ment as I have met many great colleagues and I cherish the relationships that I’ve built. Looking back on my time I want to be sure to thank Lori Dust especially for teaching me about discipline and consistency. Being able to work for her the last two years was a valuable experience. The tools that I have learned from her will carry with me as I continue my career. I also want to thank Bob Stevenson for selecting a 27 year old college student from MSU Bo-zeman as a student teacher 5 years ago. Commuting the last 3 years was at times very scary and stressful. My wife and I recently found out that we are pregnant and being closer to my wife was a decision that we made together.

Thanks,

Andrew Tenny

It’s with a heavy heart I write that I will need to end my time at Winans early and resign. I will finish the month of April, then as of May 1, 2019 I will move my focus onto my health and my family. I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked for the Livingston School District, and I hope to return when I am able to next year if a position is available. I have learned a lot this year and have enjoyed working with the children and the team at Winans.

Thank you for the opportunity to be part of the Wianas team.

Andrea Downs

Dear Mrs. Rosberg,

As you know, I will not be returning to Washington School next year. I am resigning from my Sup-

port Staff position affective June 7, 2019 and will be retiring on July first.

Thank you for making my last year a good one!

Sincerely, Alison Heitman
