You may turn these two items to our treasurer Caleb, Mrs. McCorkell in room E284, or Mr. Ladolcetta in room E285. o Season pass holders only need to pay $14 for the cost of the Six Flags Trip. SPECIAL EVENT: á 2017 FALL RALLY o On Sunday, October 8 at Six Flags Great Adventure, we have an awesome gathering of thousands of NJ Key Clubbers at Six Flags. This year’s theme is “Board? Come to Key Club!” o Permission slips must be handed in by Wednesday, September 20. The late due date is Monday, October 2 (see above for cost increase). o We’ll be leaving at 6:45 AM from the parking lot outside the cafeteria (teacher’s lot). We’ll return around 7 PM. o Wear your Key Club Shirt to the Fall Rally! á EVENT SIGNUPS o Everyone can sign up for events on the LHS Key Club Website (www.lhskeyclub.com) under the “Signups” tab, or at meetings. o The agendas (which contains all info about events) can be found on the homepage or under “Agendas and Flyers” in the “Signups” tab. o Every full meeting attended will count as .5 hours of service. á LHS KEY CLUB 2017-2018 INDUCTIONS o Thursday, December 7 in the LHS Auditorium from 7-9 PM. You’ll be officially

inducted into the club at this event. This event is MANDATORY - both new and returning members must attend in order to be inducted.

o There will be food and guest speakers! o We will be collecting canned/nonperishable food at Inductions to donate to the

Hillside Community Food Bank. Every 2 cans of food you donate will count as 1 ticket in a raffle.

o You must have volunteered 4 hours and attended 2 meetings in order to be inducted.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

á BAKE SALE o TOMORROW, September 28 (Every Thursday after general meeting) outside the

cafeteria. o We need people to bring baked goods and others to help sell the baked goods after

school with our Treasurer, Caleb. If you’re helping to sell, just meet him at the cafeteria right after school (2:41 PM).

o Bring baked goods to Mr. Lad’s room (E285) Thursday morning with you (.5 hours). á CAREONE BINGO

o Saturday, 9/30 (every Saturday) (1:45-3:15 PM) at the Care One Center of Livingston. We play bingo with senior citizens, help call out the numbers, and help wheel the residents to/from their rooms.

o Contact Nanki Ahluwalia, Jack Wang, or Jaiden Rowe for any CareOne related questions. á LHS REUNION TOUR CLASS OF 1967

o Saturday, 10/7 (11 AM to TBA) at the Livingston High School. o Special event from Mr. Stern! o Members from the LHS Class of 1967 will be returning! Volunteers will lead tours and

interact with the alumni. Wear your Key Club shirt and bring a positive attitude! á FOOD DRIVE

o October 16 to 27 we will put boxes at the main entrance of Livingston High School to collect canned foods for the Community Food Banks of NJ.

o Please also bring one canned food to each volunteer event you attend! o Contact Avika Bansal with any Food Drive related questions.

á BOOKFEST! o Monday, 10/23 (3-4:30 PM, 4:30-6 PM) at the Livingston Public Library. o Volunteers needed to help set up the book sale! 8-10 volunteers needed. o For each hour worked, volunteers are allowed to select a complimentary book.

Refreshments will be provided. J á CARPINI CUP

o Saturday, 10/28 and Sunday, 10/29 (8-10 AM, 10-12 PM, 12-2:30 PM, 2:30-5 PM) at Heritage Middle School. There are 4 shifts each day.

o Volunteers will run the pumpkin painting stand, help stuff teddy bears, and sell food. o Come help raise money for Pediatric Cancer research through the Make Some Noise

Foundation! It’s a lot of fun and for a great cause.
