Happy New Year!!! I’m so excited

about what God is going to say to us in

2014! I’m looking forward to sharing

with you, celebrating with you and

living in the Double Portion of 2014!

The word that the Lord spoke to me as

I prayed on the last day of 2013 was

Access. I want to take a moment and

declare with you that the access that

God has spoken will manifest in your

lives in every area! Let’s get ready to

live out the spoken Word of God con-

cerning our lives!

The first thing that God has said to

share with you for this year is that we

must trust the plan that God has for

us!

Jeremiah 29:11 states- For I know the

plans I have for you,” declares the

Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to

harm you, plans to give you hope and

a future.

Even when you can't see or are unsure

about what's going to happen in your

life, God wants you to trust the plan

that He has for you. It is very likely that

you will NOT know everything that life

will bring your way but you can be

assured that GOD knows what He is

doing. Apostle Paul said in 1st Corin-

thians 13:9- For we know in part and

we prophesy in part. Verse 10 goes on

to say- but when completeness comes,

what is in part disappears. Glory to

God!

When the completeness of God's plan

for us is revealed, everything you

don't know and understand will be

clear to you. Not only that, you'll

also know your PURPOSE! I've

heard it said many times before

and I've come to believe it, we'll

understand it better by and by.

God wants you to know that every

encounter in this year is for PUR-

POSE! There will be no coinci-

dences, nothing that will happen

by chance. So in every situation,

with every new acquaintance and

every opportunity that is pre-

sented to you, seek out the pur-

pose of God in prayer.

While you’re seeking God, trust the

plan that He has for you. Trust that

God will do just what He said and

always remember that His word

will not return void. Beloved, what-

ever God has said concerning you,

TRUST HIM to do it! Oh Glory!

I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying

The Plan of God is Working for

your Good. You don't have to

know the plan of God. All you have

to do is Trust the God that you

Know! Hallelujah!

I love you to life and I pray that as

the plan of God unfolds in your life,

you’ll draw closer to Him. I pray

for continued favor for each of you

in every area of life and I speak the

word over you– No good thing will

He withhold from him who walk-

upright!

Increase, Overflow & Abundance!

Destiny took her seat, holding her hands tightly in her lap, trying to remain calm. The events of the day were catching up with her with lightning speed. She took a few slow, deep, calming breaths and let them out, hoping they would begin the boarding process soon. The fear of being caught lingered on her mind. If she let it, Destiny knew, it would take her over completely. Just think-ing of Stanley, of everything that had happened, made her feel dizzy, and she forced her-self to push it away. She could-n't wait to say one day that it was a lifetime ago. A lifetime she'd never forget. And a mis-take she'd never make again...and certainly not with anyone like Stanley. Straighten-ing, Destiny turned to face the

boarding attendant. It was time to start her new life. Running from her past is exactly what Destiny plans on doing. She finally snapped the night her abusive boyfriend, Stanley, nearly killed her. Now, she's ready to leave him behind and begin anew on the other side of the country. What she doesn't expect is to meet Adam, the handsome pastor of Seattle's most lively church. As their friendship unfolds, Des-tiny is faced with lingering fear from her past. Unable to move forward with Adam until her ghosts have left her alone, Des-tiny realizes she has to put her trust in the Lord, once and for all.

In No Wasted Tears, Destiny, with the help from her friend Tina, Cynthia, and Aunt Sara, learns about coming to terms with her past, discovering who she really is, and recognizing the unexpected joys that a friendship can bring to enhance her life.

though it felt wrong, the tin-

gling sensation that came with

it made her want to feel it

again. So she kept quiet. Rather

than open her mouth and ask

for help, after being told numer-

ous times by her mother if she

continued to act out she would

be placed in a home, she made

it her mission to get put out just

so this very thing could happen.

“By His Stripes” details the life

of Christina and the decisions

she made secretly crying out for

help that lead to her being a

teen mom, a high school drop-

out and later heavy drug user

suffering in domestic violence

relationships. As you read the

story of her life, like the Book of

Esther, you will see the hand of

God over her life, even when

she didn’t acknowledge Him.

The journey brings us to today,

where she is an awesome

woman of God using her past

mistakes to educate and inform

others that it is not over until

God says it is over and that “By

His Stripes”, she is healed.

By His Stripes: A Story of Re-demption” is the true story of how tragedy can truly end in triumph when you hand it over to God.

By the time Christina was four

years old she had experienced

her first kiss at the mouth of a

relative and although young,

she knew that there was some-

thing quite different about it.

Not really thinking about it, and

also having the attention span

of a gnat, Christina pushed this

encounter out of her mind until

it happened again when she

started Kindergarten and this

time it came with a touch. Hav-

ing been taught by her mother

not to let anyone touch her in

her private areas, she was still a

confused child because al-

The Lord led Chris Brunson to form Anointed in 2001. It became evident rather quickly that God had a spe-cial assignment prepared for this ministry. Through songs penned by Minister Brunson, souls have been saved

and lives have been trans-formed forever.

Chris Brunson & Anointed

were blessed to record and

release "Bid Me Come" in

2004 and "Breakthrough" in

2013.

A Healthier You

Mrs. Sandra Byrd Young I have always been “the smart one” compared to my siblings. That was

code for “the big one.” I’ve struggled with my weight practically all my

life in spite of being active in basketball, softball, and track. My weight

began to pick up more steadily later in my teenage years and I was a size

16 in high school. Life for me was tough and food was a precious com-

modity in my family. We didn’t have much growing up in my single par-

ent home. We were strongly encouraged to clean our plates of the mas-

sive amounts of food we were given during meals because my mother

didn’t want us to be hungry. I was bullied in school because of my

weight. Ironically enough, to ease the pain, I turned to the very thing

causing me to get larger- food. At the birth of my second daughter, I

weighed approximately 205 pounds which at the time was the heaviest I

had ever been. The stress of finishing college, being a wife, and new

mother began to take a tremendous toll on my body. I ate fast food

three times a day, drank a six pack of .5 liter sodas each day, and so

many other bad things that were killing me. During a routine doctor’s visit, a nurse taking my blood pressure asked

me if I had a headache. I told her “no” and asked her why she had asked. My blood pressure at that moment was

so high, she called in the doctor. I was told that I was at risk of stroke and heart attack at 27 years old weighing 230

pounds. The doctor wrote me a prescription for blood pressure medication and advised me to lose a significant

amount of weight. I never filled that prescription and didn’t lose weight. One afternoon, I had a hard reality check. I

went into a local department store for new pants because the ones I had were worn in the thigh area. I picked up

my “usual” size 20, but when I tried them on, I couldn’t get them past my hips. I was devastated. I cried in the

dressing room for what seemed a lifetime. I made up in my mind at that moment I have to change. My journey be-

gan January 10, 2012, my 29th birthday, at 249.6 pounds and dress size 20+. I changed my diet completely by elimi-

nating fast food, soda, processed and fried foods. I also incorporated exercise into my routine and ran my first 5k

race. I have now completed many races including one 10 mile race, several 5k races, and the Atlanta Peachtree

Road Race. I am also training for my first half marathon! I cannot tell you how true the cliché, “Nothing tastes as

good as you can look and feel.” I have moments when I want to slip back into old habits and I enjoy meals outside

of my new way of eating, but I understand the value and importance of healthy living. I now maintain a weight be-

tween 155-165 pounds and I wear a size 6 dress. I feel great! I had to start small, but I had to start SOMEWHERE! I

encourage anyone who wants to do the same to go for it! You’ll be glad you did!
