It was in August of 1989 that Phyllis and I became a part of the AIM family.

What an exciting trip it has been. Our lives were forever changed that day when my friend shared the green barley juice powder with us. I was having difficulty with joint pain in my knees due to arthritis. With the introduction of BarleyLife and the other AIM products, we not only experienced a lifestyle change but a whole new family began to appear in our lives.

more. It is a wonderful time to be together to learn, share and fellowship. I have been to many of the conferences since 1989. It was at one of the early conferences that my passion for sharing the AIM products was born. These events have enabled me to continue growing as I have learned about the AIM products, the AIM business and, at the same time, enjoying the fellowship of so many people that have become my AIM family. Check online or in the Living Well magazine for places and times.

Make it a vacation time or just a time to get away from your everyday activities and enjoy the fellowship of so many wonderful AIM family friends. You will be blessed. I will be looking forward to seeing you at our next reunion.

Partners for Life Message

Being Part of the AIM Family Has Enlarged My Family!

As we began to share the bles-sings that the AIM products had brought to us, we began to have many new friends to visit with and enjoy being with. People that we didn’t know existed became our close friends. Then it really began to explode. Their friends became our friends too. Our AIM family was growing more and more as time marched on. As our business grew, our AIM family grew.

I don’t know about you, but I enjoy getting together with all of my family. It is so refreshing being with family members that I haven’t visited in a while: brothers and sisters, uncles and aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and getting acquainted with the new members of the family. Family members help us get through the hard times and share the good times too!!

It is the same when we get together as an AIM family. I would encourage everyone to consider attending our AIM Family Reunion next May 18-22 in Branson, Missouri. Let’s make it the largest reunion ever. There are also conferences in Ohio, Indiana, Texas and

For AIM Chairman’s Club Directors Ken and Lanny Donald, becoming grandparents carried a triple twist of fate. Their daughters, Kalina and Jensina, both gave birth in September 2014 only four days apart. Kalina’s twin boys, Kaelan and Keiran, came first followed by Jensina’s son, Kaius. In the space of less than a week, Ken and Lanny suddenly had three grandkids. This welcome trio of boys has blessed the lives of the Donalds, their extended family and friends.

Both Kalina and Jensina have taken AIM products for years, and during their preg-nancies, they primarily took AIM BarleyLife® and AIM LeafGreens™ to boost their energy levels and maintain a healthy nutritional intake.

Shortly after giving birth, Kalina received some guidance from Kathleen Bird-Ekman, an AIM Preferred Member who is also a nutritional consultant, as to when she could give BarleyLife to her twins. Kathleen’s seven-year-old son, Robert, and three-year-old daughter, Alexandra, have enjoyed AIM greens from the time they were about six months old and both children are incredibly healthy.

The Donald’s preferred method of using BarleyLife has always been to take the powder dry. “I found that when I tried to give my boys BarleyLife on a spoon, their breath blew most of the powder away,” Kalina stated, realizing it was time for a different method. “I noticed that when the canister was left open and there was humidity in the air, the powder would form

into little clumps. I decided to mist water on some of the powder and roll it into little balls. Voila! BarleyLife candy,” Kalina exclaimed.

This became the ideal delivery method for all three of Ken and Lanny’s grandchildren. “Kaius goes wild when you walk toward him with a BarleyLife canister,” Jensina stated. “And Kaius, Kaelan and Keiran all love it.” In fact, both moms relate that thirty minutes before milk time, their children’s facial expressions signal they’re clamoring for BarleyLife. They suck on these healthy BarleyLife balls and end up with greenish-black lips and faces. But it keeps the boys healthy, and they rarely get sick.

Recently, Kalina and Jensina have been giving the boys the Garden Trio to increase their nutritional intake. And both moms have upped their own AIM intakes for very good reasons. “Because they are actively moving around now, we're more exhausted now than when they were newborns,” Jensina admitted. “We’d be dead in the water without AIM products.”

With the demands of the holiday season, the ending of 2015 and the beginning of a New Year, it is no wonder that people will experience increased stress, anxiety, frazzled nerves, overloaded minds and sleepless nights—the undesirable side effects of a busy life.

During particularly stressful times, mental and muscular tension can overwhelm the body. Maintaining one’s composure any time of year is easily achieved by taking Composure®, which offers a natural way to remain calm and relaxed—day or night—with a blend of herbal ingredients.

The demands of being an Immigration and Citizenship Counsel and Practitioner require constant mental alertness. If I don’t sleep well, I’m unable to give my clients the 100 percent they deserve and expect from me.  Families’ futures depend on it. Sometimes the details of the job keep me awake at night, so I started taking Composure that I purchased from AIM Canada. The results really impressed me. I wear a fitness tracker that can also measure sleep patterns. Before taking Composure, I was getting only 5 hours of light sleep and 2 hours of sound sleep. With Composure, the numbers reversed: 5 hours of sound sleep and 2 hours of light sleep. I sleep well and awaken fully recharged. In fact, I haven’t felt better since.

Sunny Yee, AIM MemberVancouver, BC

Winding Down with AIM Composure®

I keep Composure handy in my bedroom and am never without it. When I have overdone it and am achy tired, I can’t go to sleep. I take some Composure and lie down immediately and stay very still. In about twenty minutes, I feel the ache drain out of my body, and then I’m able to fall asleep. Composure is wonderful and a must for me.

Betty Ann Henrichson, AIM DirectorSan Antonio, Texas

Herbs such as Composure’s passionflower have been used for centuries as a remedy for anxiety and promoting restful sleep. In fact, some of the passionflower’s active compounds increase both the levels and activity of gamma amino butyric acid (GABBA), which literally quietens a far too busy brain.

In a world of media that promotes addictive sedatives that knock you out with synthesized chemicals, Composure’s herbal formula can help to relieve anxiety without the side effects often associated with drugs. And when taken before bedtime, you get a good night’s sleep and awaken refreshed.

Since peach fit ‘n fiber was dis-continued, many Members have requested its return. We here at The AIM Companies like to give the membership what it wants. That’s why peach fit ‘n fiber is coming back in a big way and in a big canister.

The new formulation will use the same general base as the original peach formula with a few small modifications. These changes have been made to ensure our new product is healthier and more consistent with AIM’s philosophy. First, we’ll be using brown rice syrup solids, a glucose-based sweetener from rice starch that contains absolutely no fructose. This replaces the evaporated cane juice in the original formula. We also removed Fibersol-2 and replaced it with acacia fiber.

Secondly, we’ve removed all the inulin from the new product. Although inulin provides prebiotic benefits and increases mineral absorption, it is also widely associated with bloating, cramps, stomach pain and gas. In-house trials have determined that the inulin-free peach fit ‘n fiber does not cause these side effects. Instead, we have added konjac fiber known for its ability to help regulate blood sugar, suppress appetite, aid in cholesterol management, reduce diabetes risk and decreases constipation.

For those of you who like the apple-cinnamon, we will keep the

gluten-free oat fiber in the new peach formulation. The oat fiber was a favorite among Members who liked the last iteration of fit ‘n fiber, and we’re hoping that by retaining the oat fiber, we’ll also retain apple-cinnamon fans.

But one of the biggest reasons that the Members requested the return of peach fit ‘n fiber is because it mixed so well with Herbal Fiberblend. As you probably know, Herbal Fiberblend is one of our top sellers due to its consistency, history and potency. It is, however, an acquired taste. Many of our Members mixed the original peach fit ‘n fiber with Herbal Fiberblend to create a drink that provided a heaping serving of dietary fiber, the unique blend of herbs only HFB can provide and the great taste of peach. W e believe that these two products combined

can change lives for the healthier and grow AIM businesses all around the world.

The new peach fit ‘n fiber will be avail able for sale in

January in the US, New Zea- land, South

Africa, and the United King dom.

Call 1-800-456-2462 for availability.

Tiki’s Recipe for Kids’ Nutrition! In January, AIM Director Tiki

McIntyre of New Orleans will be leading a teleclass on kids, the AIM products and how to get children to take them. Her own kids (shown below) love the AIM products. They even eat BarleyLife® raw, right out of the canister. But if your kids take to plant-based nutrition like a cat takes to water, then this event is for you. For those of you who can’t wait until then, here are a few of her suggestions to get you through the rest of the year.

Breakfast Recipe: • 1servingoftheGarden

Trio (BarleyLife, RediBeets® and Just Carrots®)

• 1servingofCalciAIM®

• HalfglassofPrills® water

• Halfglassoforangejuiceorcoconut water

Afternoon/After School Snack Options:• Smoothie: CoCoa LeafGreens® in almond milk,

ProPeas® and/or fit ‘n fiber® to add bulk if needed.

• Orange Drink: CalciAIM mixed with Just Carrots

• Red Drink: BarleyLife with a half-serving of Peak Endurance® for older kids.

• Green Drink: BarleyLife and CalciAIM

Before Bed: Mix Herbal Fiber-

This lessens complaints. If they’re constipated from stress, Mag-nificence® magnesium crystals at bath time can have a calming effect.

As we head into a period of holiday-season feasts, it’s a good time to prepare for DSO: digestive system overload.

Christmas is just around the corner. Traditionally, it is a time that families and friends get together. More often than not, a feast of food translates into overeating.

AIM PrepZymes® is the ideal supplement to have on hand to help your body survive overindulgence. Its cultured enzymes, papaya fruit and alpine wild garlic help to break down whatever variety of foods you eat during the holidays. Besides, there always seem to be leftovers, which can also use a little PrepZymes action.

And with the New Year celebratory spread to follow, you may as well order in six-packs ’cause there’s no digestive aid like PrepZymes for the holidays.

Your lower bowel is loaded with bacteria. Although this may sound a little scary, the fact is your health depends on bacterial balance between the good and the bad, kind of like life itself. It is always better when the good outweighs the bad. The same can be said for bacteria.

A healthy balance of good bacteria in your gut helps you to digest and absorb nutrients, maintain healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels, produce specific vitamins and hormones as well as defend against attackers, such as viruses and carcinogens. Too much bad bacteria can disrupt the balance and elevate inflammation, allowing the advancement of disease. Research indicates that some of these unhealthy bacteria may impact how the brain works, leading to conditions such as depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, autism and Alzheimer`s disease.

Taking the probiotics in AIM FloraFood® repopulates your gut with good bacteria, ensuring that the bad bacteria never get the upper hand. Providing three types of good bacteria (L. gasseri, B. bifidum and B. longum), FloraFood is a simple and effective way to strengthen your immune system and optimize key body functions that support good health.

On a separate note—pun intended—when taking FloraFood and PrepZymes, be sure to keep them separate. Enzymes will digestively break down FloraFood’s healthy bacteria before they get a chance to repopulate your gut, which is where they do their finest work.

The nutritional choices you make have a huge impact on your future health. More and more research points out that good nutrition is the key factor in overall wellness. By eating whole foods and taking natural supplements to increase your intake of vital nutrients, you can enjoy vital health, live longer and reduce the risk of contracting a multitude of diseases. It’s that simple, and it remains your choice to do the right thing for your body. Without question, daily intake of BarleyLife’s nutritional richness is the right thing to do.

Greens from BarleyLifeNature’s perfect nourishment and pro-

tection are to be found in the greens of AIM BarleyLife®. Supplementing a whole-food diet with the juice powder of barley grass saturates your body with the nutrients that it thrives on for energizing, feeding and maintaining healthy cells. The antioxidants, chlorophyll, enzymes, minerals, vitamins and many other plant nutrients yet to be identified in barley grass deliver an immeasurable wealth of nutrition.

The immune system support you receive from BarleyLife is also incalculable and can be measured only in terms of the long-term wellness experienced by those who make these greens a daily part of their lives. The alkalizing and detoxifying actions of greens defend your body against factors that can cause the onset of illness.

The anti-inflammatory benefits of greens have been proven study after study. Although Benjamin Franklin’s famous quote, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” was advice he gave about fire safety, he could just as easily been referring to preventing the fiery

flames within, since the greens in BarleyLife reduce inflammation—an underlying factor of most, if not all, diseases.

Lifestyle choices that include eating a whole-food diet, taking AIM’s natural nutrition and getting enough exercise and sleep can help direct any body on the road to good health. Turning your health around for the better by making the right lifestyle choices may take longer than the immediate effects of a drug, but the results include positive side effects such as a longer, healthier life.

There are those that will argue that uncontrollable factors, including environment and genetics, ultimately determine your future health. However, healthy nutritional choices can protect you against the effects of a negative environment. And if there are signs that your health is taking a turn for the worse, examine your lifelong food habits and make changes even if it means eliminating habitual comfort foods and replacing them with whole foods. Likewise, if your family history includes life-threatening diseases, this does not determine a similar fate for you. Genetics can load the gun, but poor lifestyle choices pull the trigger.

It’s a Healthier Life with BarleyLife

ANTON ZAFIR (Nitro Welterweight Champ -ion): In the latter half of 2015, I have been recovering from knee surgery and have been training and traveling with other fighters, helping them

get ready for fights and looking for my next fight. In 2016, I am planning to go overseas to compete. There are some great organizations that I would love to be a part of. I am also looking to win a few more fights to get an opportunity to compete in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championships). I am currently using Peak Endurance® to help replenish myself after a hard training session and Red Rush™ to help remove lactic acid.

J.R. CELSKI (Three- Time Olympic Medalist for Speed skating): I’ve been recovering from a hip surgery which happened in November 2014. It is a common injury related to skat ing sports. I am well along

the path to a full recovery and have had my skates on, training to compete again this season. I plan on skating full time and competing on the International Circuit again. If all goes well with the recovery process, I’m looking to compete in an individual spot at the World Championships in March of 2016 which takes place in South Korea where the 2018 Winter Olympics will also take place. I’m currently using Red Rush, AIMega®, CellSparc 360®, Proancynol 2000®, Peak Endurance, CalciAIM®, the Garden Trio®, ProPeas® and Mag-nificence®.

LEW HOLLANDER (Guin ness World’s Record Holder for Oldest Iron Man Competitor and Finisher): In 2015, I became the oldest man ever to qualify and run the IronMan World Championship in Hawaii, beating my previous record and opening up a new age bracket.

This was my last IronMan Championship. I’ll still do half IronMan triathlons and other races if they aren’t too far away. I take all the products: CoCoa LeafGreens®, BarleyLife®, Peak Endurance. I like CalciAIM’s formula. I mix that with my sports drink during races. You get stiff and sore because you’re magnesium and calcium deficient. That’s why it’s important for me. I take ProPeas. I love the amino acids. I take Red Rush every day. It’s easy to digest and convenient to take. I think it’s important for people to know that using these products isn’t a one-day job. You have to take them every day of your life to see the most benefit.

MARTIN BENNING (Can cer Survivor and Moun taineer): This sum mer I’ve been up to some local climbing. I climbed Mt. Adams with my nephew and a few friends in the early summer. Then about a month ago, I climbed Glacier Peak which I’ve wanted to climb for

the last ten years. It’s the most remote volcano in Washington, but now that we have climbed it, I have officially climbed every volcano in the state. It was pretty amazing but also a three-day, forty-mile adventure. Other than that, I’ve done just a little rock climbing here and there. In 2016, we hope to continue to drum up sponsors to help us get to Antarctica to climb Vinson Massif, but it has been a difficult journey. This winter we may of course try for a winter ascent of Mt. Rainier again, but weather is always tough to predict. The products that I’m taking are the Garden Trio, AIMega, Peak Endurance, Red Rush, ProPeas and CoCoa LeafGreens.

Meeting

Guidelines

Since The AIM Companies began operations in 1982, Members have been successfully growing their AIM businesses by holding home meetings. These intimate gatherings are an opportunity for Members to introduce the benefits of AIM nutrition to people from all walks of life from the comfort of home. Home meetings offer a personal touch that can make all the difference in gaining someone`s trust to sign up as a new Member. AIM has supported these endeavors for decades and will continue to do so.

Over the years, the humble beginnings of home meetings have grown to encompass local fairs, seminars and conferences in a variety of venues that can draw hundreds of people or more. Participating in or organizing larger events calls for even more planning in terms of time, materials and costs. AIM has assisted with both. In 2015, the official Member Meeting Guidelines were created to help organizers qualify for support.

When planning an event, it is essential to give yourself enough time to organize and successfully execute it. One of the qualifying

regulations for support is to give the AIM Companies enough advance notice to assist you in your success. For example, in the past, AIM has received requests for meeting materials at the last minute, which does not give us enough time to prepare let alone deliver them well before an event. For us to serve you best, requests must be made at least forty-five days in advance of the event date.

It costs more money to hold meetings outside the home, but well-organized events that engage attendees can increase your business tenfold and take you to new levels in the AIM Income Plan. Researching a variety of factors, including suitable locations, best times of the year, competitive events, and advertising will make a huge difference in attendance. And adhering to the qualifying regulations for financial support from AIM will ease the overall costs involved.

If your plans for 2016 include expanding your AIM business with home meetings and events, please contact AIM USA or AIM Canada for a copy of the Member Meeting Guidelines to help you prepare for success in the New Year.

In October, Living Well talked to some of our beaucoup Branson Bucks winners to see just how they did it. The contest is ending on December 31st, but the excitement is still as strong as ever. Keep up the good work, everyone!

Earned $1,255 in Branson Bucks* We plan on going to Branson and

enjoyed the contest. When we heard about it I told my wife, ‘we’ll get that easy.’ I thought it would be tough, but all of a sudden, I was up there. I just had to keep doing what I was doing but push a little more. We had the best luck with meetings. We also did a lot of mailings and put ads in the paper.

—AIM Director Harvey Borntrager of Granton, Wisconsin

Earned $805 in Branson Bucks*I liked the fact that the Branson Bucks

contest was all about new growth. I had slowed down on building my AIM business and this contest has fired me up again, especially as I was quite excited about the beautiful location this year in Branson.

My husband, George, is very good on the computer, so this time for every new Member I signed up, he made business cards for them. He put their information on the front and how to order the products wholesale on the back along with their sponsor ID#. This helped get people sharing quickly, and everyone appreciated the fact that we would do this for them. I also sent several testimonies plus a testimonial booklet. Testimonies seem to really help people understand how good AIM products are.

—Chairman’s Club Director Muriel McPherson of Duntroon, Ontario

Earned $877 in Branson Bucks*It’s fun to work hard for

something and WIN it! I love that AIM posted scores for the Branson Bucks. It motivated me. Attending webinars and teleclasses really helped.

—AIM Director Tiki McIntyre of New Orleans, Louisiana

Earned $669 in Branson Bucks *I would never miss an AIM

conference. I like the contest. It’s designed to help you build your group. The only way to win it or earn it, as I like to say, is to sponsor and doing that builds your group. When you help that person sponsor someone else, it builds it even

At the age of thirteen, AIM Member and Red Rush® athlete Hayden McCormick began his journey into the world of competitive cycling. Eight years later, he’s grown into one of the foremost cyclists in New Zealand and quite possibly the world. In 2012, he was crowned the National Criterium Champion, and in 2014, he won the Calder Stewart Elite Road National Championships, top races there. This year, he was selected to compete in the World Road Championships in Richmond, Virginia. This will be his third time competing in the World Championships.

Although cycling has expe-r ienced a surge of popularity during the last few years in New Zealand, it isn’t massively

prevalent, so Hayden spends the majority of his year—February through October—in Belgium as a member of the Lotto-Soudal Cycling Under-23 Team. He took the gig with the high-profile, lottery spon-sored Belgium group after training in Russia for the World Championships and winning some smaller Belgian races a few years ago.

In Europe, cycling is more competitive and the stakes are higher, providing cyclists from all over the world with more opportunities. In a single season, Hayden can race in over eighty events. He describes himself as a classic rider, someone who isn’t specialized in one thing like a sprinter or a climber, but instead is able to handle every aspect of cycling well.

Asked if he had Olympic aspirations, Hayden responded: “I mainly focus on being a good professional rider and making a living off the sport. I just try to be the best I can be. I’m not as much focused on the Olympics, but that said, part of being a professional is competing to be in the Olympics. So that’s always something to strive for. I’m still young, so the course of my career can go anywhere, but I’ll definitely try. After I’m done with cycling, I’d really like to help the sport grow in New Zealand as much as I can.”

When he’s not working on his fitness during training, Hayden relies on nutrition to give him a boost. He loves to cook and enjoys learning about the various nutritional aspects of foods. “It’s an easy advantage to have, and you don’t have to do a lot for it. That’s why I like the Red Rush beetroot shots. They’re like a free advantage. I really like the taste of Red Rush. I hated drinking regular beet juice. I would just get it down as fast as possible, but Red Rush tastes good. I definitely notice that it helps on the bike as well. Plus, it’s good for you.”

Lotshaw Helping Hands and AIMOn Thursday, October 13, AIM Directors

Linda and Charlie Lotshaw from Riverside, California held their annual Lotshaw Helping Hands event for the Nampa, Idaho area with the support of The AIM Companies. Seventy low-income children from the Nampa and Caldwell, Idaho school districts each received $100 to spend on back-to-school clothing plus up to $50 for a winter coat at the local JC Penney store. AIM assisted in the funding and AIM staff and family pitched in to help at this worthy event.

Event organ i z - ers expressed their appreciation. “This would not be pos-s ible if it wasn’t for the support that all of you give to this important annual event. An extra-special thank you to all who were able to attend and be the feet on the street for this event. You helped make it so very special and memorable for all of the children.”
