ofbreath-atreadmilltestwithcontinuouspulseoxandEKGrhythmmonitoringisusedwithincreasingspeedandinclinetoassesspatientoxygenationstatus.

2.  Forpatientswhocannotwalkontreadmilland/orhavehadexperiencedsignificantdecreaseintheirexercisecapacity,a6MinuteWalkTestisperformed.Patientwalksonlevelgroundattheirpace,vitalsignsandsaturationaremonitored.Patientmaystopatanytimeifneeded.OxygenisstartedandtitratedtomaintainSpO2to90–92%orgreater.
