1 Retail Price Guides are an estimate and may not represent true value of a work - you will satisfy yourself as to any value of a given work

2 All works of art offered for sale at auction are sold "as is" as displayed at the time of auction

3 Descriptions of works are accurate only to the best of our knowledge and typographical errors may occur

4 Images of works are provided for ease of identification only

5 The auctioneer may refuse any bid on a live or silent auction

6 In the case of any disputed bid the auctioneer's decision shall be binding and final

7 The sale price shall be the highest bid that is accepted by the auctioneer on either live or silent auction subject to any reserve being met

8 The sale price is inclusive of GST and is payable in full on the fall of the hammer or conclusion of the silent auction as the case may be

9 Prior to bidding you will provide your full name and contact details to auction staff who will provide you with a bidding number

10 In the event a bid is made without a bidding number, the bid will be deemed valid and you will immediately provide your name and contact details

11 No bid on a live or a silent auction sheet may be withdrawn once entered12 Bids on silent auctions may be entered only in the designated increments

13 Payment made by you by cheque or credit card transaction on the night shall be binding and you shall not later revoke such payment

14 Artworks shall not be touched or removed at any time until handed over to you on payment in full of the sale price and a reciept is issued to you

15 Artworks will be collected & removed by you or your representative on the night of the auction on presentation of your receipt for payment in full

16 The organisers have agreed with artists the right to negotiate post auction on any unsold work subject to the artist's approval of final price

17 These and any other conditions published on the night of the auction are for the benefit of the organisers of the Liveable City Art Auction
