I love my mum and dad but some-times I don’t like it at home that’s why I turn to music I feel with music I can get away from everything and

everything bad is gone.

It all started in 2008 I was introduced to Nirvana by my cousin. I instantly fell in love with their music so I wanted to play guitar and be just like Kurt Cobain I started playing at school I heard that the school has a concert every year for eve-ryone that plays guitar I got put in a group with all these girls and one boy I didn’t really like the peo-ple I was with because I wasn’t really friends with them.

I was in a band at school with a group of boys and we had to choose some songs to play at our farewell I was lead guitarist with another boy called Nicky. Everyone thought that I would get best at music but I didn’t I wasn’t really upset because a good friend of mine got it.

I left primary school and now go to CBC I’m in a band with a couple if friends and I now want to start drums but still continue to play with guitar.

Nirvana was the best band of its generation. The band was loved all around the world

May 10 1965: the base guitarist Krist Novoselic was born

February 20, 1967: vocalist and guitarist Kurt cobain was born.

January 14, 1969: drummer Dave grohl was born.

In September 1987 Kurt meets Krist and they both play in several bands together. In the late 80s Kurt Krist and Aaron Burckhard form Nirvana the band records a song demo. Nirvana is offered to put out a single. And of course the band ac-cepts.

Bleach is released on sub pop. Nirvana went on a month long U.S tour. In Sep-tember 25 1990 Dave Grohl, Joins Nirvana. Nirvana briefly tours in England as an opening act for L7. in April 17, 1991 Nirvana first plays Smells Like Teen Spirit and it was a big hit all around the world 2 weeks later Nirvana signs with DGC records. The single nevermind gets a gold album.

Smells Like Teen Spirit was such a big hit that it was put on MTV. The album nev-ermind hits number one on the billboard 200 album chart. In January and Febru-ary 1992 Nirvana tours Australia Japan and Hawaii.

March 1 1994 Nirvana plays their final show at Munich. March 4 1994 Kurt co-bain is hospitalised after a suicide attempt in which he washed down about fifty prescription painkillers. April 5, 1994 Kurt commits suicide.
