Thank you, thank you, Savannah, for all the incredible support you have provided the Philharmonic this past year. Perpetu-ally sold-out concerts, increased giving, and as much passion coming from you, the audience, as from the stage made for a perfect 5th Season! Our education program continues to grow, and our work in integra-tive medicine (bringing musicians to play for patients receiving chemotherapy and a funny kid’s opera especially arranged for sick children) has made me very proud of my musicians. As you browse the brochure, I hope you agree we have hit the target again on achieving a mix of music for everyone to en-joy. I myself can’t pick one favorite concert, they all have a highlight for me. I’m confi-dent you will feel the same. I look forward to welcoming you all at the concert halls!Peter Shannon Artistic Director and Conductor Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus
