Prospective Live Application:

A sensor/time based application that would be integrated with some electronic equipment, would

automatically sense the inside of Lab/Class-Room lightning/weather conditions and would be able to save

electricity/power consumption accordingly by switching O or O!! lights, fans and other electrical

equipment inside the room" #he same thing could be implemented using the surveillance cameras already

installed inside the rooms" !or e$ample, if the room is empty and there is no lively movement, the lights

and fans would automatically be switched off" %n case of a sensor based system, it would also detect the

amount of illuminated direct or indirect sun light inside the room& based on which the lights would be

turned O or O!!" !urther enhancement could be made in the system if required" Li'e, if a person enters

a room, the system would detect the position of the person and switch-on only that light/fan that

surrounds the person"
