QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to the quilt photo for placement of fabrics.

BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the

quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together

end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side

borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 41½”. Top and bottom borders should

be 40¼”.

Border 2Refer to the quilt photo for placement of print 2½” x 8”

rectangles. Sew 6 print 2½” x 8” rectangles together for the

right side border. Sew 6 print 2½” x 8” rectangles together for

the left side border. Sew the right and left side borders to the

quilt center.

Refer to the quilt photo for placement of print 2½” x 71/8”

rectangles. Sew 6 print 2½” x 71/8” rectangles together for the

top border. Sew 6 print 2½” x 71/8” rectangles together for

the bottom border. Sew a blue norwhal 2½” square to each

end of the top and bottom borders. Sew the top and bottom

borders to the quilt center.

Border 3Refer to the quilt photo for placement of print 2½” x 7½”

rectangles. Sew 7 print 2½” x 7½” rectangles together for the

right side border. Sew 7 print 2½” x 7½” rectangles together

for the left side border. Sew the right and left side borders to

the quilt center. Sew 7 print 2½” x 6¾” rectangles together for

the top border. Sew 7 print 2½” x 6¾” rectangles together for

the bottom border. Sew a blue norwhal 2½” square to each

end of the top and bottom borders. Sew the top and bottom

borders to the quilt center.

Border 4Side borders should be 53½”. Top and bottom borders should

be 52¼”.

Border 5Side borders should be 57½”. Top and bottom borders should

be 64¼”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back.
