Attention Young Adults, Ages 18-39! The Stark County Catholic Young Adult Ministry Team needs
your input! Young Adult Ministry covers a wide range of ages and life stages, including college stu-
dents, early professionals, and young par-ents. Before planning activities and gatherings, we would like to find out what types of ministry oppor-
tunities young adults are seeking and how the church can best serve this age group. Please use the QR
code below to complete a short survey by October 31 to give us your feedback! The survey should take about 5 minutes and will provide the team with valu-
able information for planning future young adult opportunities throughout Stark Coun-ty. If you have any questions, feel free
to reach our team at [email protected].
Attention Youth Group Members/Parents:
Kids asked and so we will deliver!
Starting the first week in November, both youth groups will
meet on a weekly basis. High School Youth will meet Wednesdays from
6:30-8:00pm and Middle School Youth will meet on Thursdays also from 6:30-8:00pm. There will be special events planned on some weekends and you will be made
aware of those well in advance. This way, it should be easier to put the youth ministry on your calendars.
Please spread the word, please contact Michal with any questions!
Thank you to all CCD members that have brought pantry goods & toiletries for our 2 Collections. Let’s keep this going for a bit

Varble Hall from 9:15-10:30am. We will take a look at all the different Catholic practices, traditions, and
expressions of faith so we can better understand why do we Catholics do the things that we do. For more in-formation, please contact Michal at

Matthew 8:20 In September of this year our Matthew
8:20 Ministry began a new monthly “clothing only” outreach. This is in
addition to our twice/month outreaches to the downtown Crossroads United
Methodist Church that we’ve been doing for many years.
This new outreach take place at the Crossroads UMC Fresh Market Food Pantry
located at 3412 Harmont Ave N.E. across the street from Walmart. Like the down-town location they work with the Akron-
Canton Food Bank to distribute fresh produce, meat and dairy to those in need 5 days a week. This location does not have
clothing or household items like the downtown location.
We are in need of a driver and 7 volun-teers to complete clothing intake requests from our guests and to work in the clothing
trailer. Our next outreach is Tuesday Nov. 23rd from 4-6pm. Please let us know
if you are interested.
ACME CASH-BACK FUND RAISER It’s that time again!!! Your Acme cash register receipts can be placed in the
Acme white bucket, located in the west entrance Church foyer. Acme Fund
Raiser runs from Aug. thru Dec. 31st.
Pajamas/Nightgowns For the Domestic Violence Shelter
The Altar & Rosary Society continue to collect Pajamas & Nightgowns &
Sleepers for children as one of the many projects done each year through the Altar &
Rosary Society. Please either drop these off in the container provided in the back of church or
bring them to the parish office no later than Sunday, November 28th.
Thank you for your continued generosity!
An evening gathering on Grief & The Holidays
As Autumn fades, and evenings become longer, thoughts of the coming “busy” season of Thanksgiving and Christmas remind us of those
loved ones no longer with us. On Tuesday Nov. 16th an evening gathering open to all those who have experienced the
death of a loved one, family member, or companion are invited to join with others for
support, guidance and helpful materials to help celebrate the season with love and
remembrance. Please join us in the parish li-brary located through the Office entrance at
6:00 pm. Please RSVP so we can have enough materials prepared for attendees.
Please Call Pat Jeffcott 330-904-5524, Or Eileen Dunlap 330-806-2680
