ONLINE EDUCATION 180 Skills online education consists of the following elements:

MODULE A single unit of competency-based online education

PEOPLE 180 Skills refers to all users of the LMS as people. An individual user is called a user, learner, or a person. Each person receives a user account, which contains his or her name and contact information. As a person takes and completes his or her online education, the LMS stores the progress. The progress is associated to each person and his or her online education.
USER STATUS ACTIVE When a user’s status is active the user can log into the LMS and access their online education. Their progress will be stored on the LMS.
INACTIVE If you have a person that shouldn’t log into the LMS, because they are no longer employed by your company, then their account should be set to inactive. When a user’s status is inactive the user account cannot log into the LMS, but their progress is stored on the LMS and may be reported on. If a user’s status is inactive and needs to have access to the LMS again, set their status to active, and then they can log into the LMS and their progress will be available.
DELETE User accounts shouldn’t be deleted. Instead set the user’s status to inactive.
USER A person that has a computer with internet access, and wants
to access an online education and track progress.
