The architecture is really modern and very interesting. The inside is very bright, the colourful stainglass windows cast playful shadows on the floor and makes the building very cosy.

School

AUGUSTĖ

The school was big, clean and cosy. I think the lessons were similar to the ones at our school, only the students had separate sheets of paper instead of exercise-books. All teachers seemed to be very good, the students were really friendly. The school was decorated in Lithuanian, Catalan and Swedish flags. There were also our English teachers‘ photos playing in Barcelona‘s team. They looked perfect!

• Then Swedes taught us their traditional dance. When it was our turn we were a bit scared but everything went fine. I think the party is one of the best memories!

On Thursday morning we woke up at 7 o‘clock, so that before 8 we were ready for a trip to Costa Brava. Near the school the bus was waiting foru s. While on the road we saw Mediterranean nature: big mountains and scarps. When we came to Costa Brava, we went to the pier to the boat. We sailed round Illes Medes Marine Nature Reserve, it took abot 1,5 hour and was so enjoyable and exciting.

We observed huge rocks, birds and had a chance to glance into the underwater life. It was thrilling to get down to the bottom of the boat and see colourful fish swimming next to the windows. This day was the best of all !

Thurday was a stunning day as we sunbathed on the beach in Palafrugell (typical Mediterranean village), we also swam in the sea as soon as we reached it. The weather was hot and we enjoyed it so much.

Sadly, buto n Saturday we had to leave, some of us even were crying! Everybody felt he would like to stay a bit more. However in the airport we had a pleasant surprise as we met our famous basketballer Jonas Valančiūnas whose team won gold in this year basketball championship under 19. We took a photo with him and he gave his autograph, everybody was so excited. The travel was long and tiring but we were happy to experience so much in few days. Thank you for such a welcoming stay!
