This section lists works approved by Lloyd’s Register Group for the manufacture of fusionwelded pressure vessels in accordance with Lloyd’s Register Rules and Regulations for theClassification of Ships, Part 5, Chapter 17. The section is subdivided into three parts asfollows :

List 12a Class 1 approvalsList 12b Class 2/1 approvalsList 12c Class 2/2 approvals.

The information listed for each works is a summary of the approval, and only covers themanufacturing location listed, it does not extend to other works owned by the samecompany.

The firms are retained on the List subject to regular satisfactory inspections, the results ofwhich are reported to Head Office of Lloyd’s Register.

The continuing process of approval and up-grading, deletions means that this list recordsthe status only at the deadline for printing.

Any queries concerning the validity of a particular approval can be obtained from thecurrent approval certificate issued to the manufacturer or by reference to the local office ofLloyd’s Register.
