Electrical gardening equipment should also be taken to the local HWRCs for recycling. Larger electrical items can be taken to the local HWRCs or collected via the Bulky Waste Service for recycling. Please, if possible, remove batteries. Most council buildings (community centres, libraries etc) have containers for the collection of batteries, usually in the reception area. Local supermarkets and other large retailers also have containers for collecting used batteries.
