International Islamic University College Selangor also known as KUIS, is a private university college fully owned by Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS). In 2000, KUIS moved to its permanent campus in Bandar Seri Putra, Bangi and was officiated by Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Sharifudin Idris Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahudin Abdul Aziz Shah AlHaj, Sultan of Selangor on May 25, 2002. Today, KUIS is one of the most dynamic Islamic private universities in Malaysia and is striving towards its mission to become one of the most renowned centers of academic excellence locally and internationally. Applicant completes online application form and uploads all required documents to support the application via e-admission at www.kuis.edu.my/en/. The required documents are:i. A copy of applicant’s passport (all pages, including blanks). The validity of the passport must be more than 18 months.ii. Copies of applicant’s relevant academic and other certificates including transcripts.The documents must be certified as true copies by the institution issuing them or by any commissioners of oaths.iii. Copies of applicant’s TOEFL/ IELTS results and transcript (Compulsory).iv. Applicant’s photo (passport-sized in white background).Successful application will receive a Conditional Offer of Admission letter within 2 weeks after the online application date. Applicant can check and download the letter via e-admission at www.kuis.edu.my/en/.

Upon receiving the Conditional Offer of Admission letter, applicant is advised to check all details especially applicant’s name and the program offered. Any mistake must be informed immediately to KUIS via e-mail to emgs.bpk@kuis.edu.my. Then, applicant must make the required Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) payments (non-refundable) to KUIS in cash/ bank draft/ cash deposit machine/ online banking/ cheque to Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB); account number 120 290 100 35914 (KOLEJ UNIVERSITI ISLAM ANTARABANGSA SELANGOR).

Applicant is reminded to perform medical check-up and e-mail the completed “Health Examination Report” form (in PDF format) to emgs.bpk@kuis.edu.my. Upon receiving this document, International Marketing Unit of KUIS will submit all documents to EMGS One-Stop Center and apply a visa approval letter (VAL) for applicant. The VAL application process takes two months (maximum) to complete.

Upon approval from EMGS, Admission Section of KUIS will upload a Conditional Offer of Admission Letter into e-admission at www.kuis.edu.my/en/. Applicant can check the application status online. In addition, International Section of KUIS will send the hard-copy of the Offer of Admission Letter together with the VAL via email to the applicant for further action. Applicant must submit the VAL to Malaysian Embassy/ Consulate (the nearest address is stated in the VAL) to obtain Temporary Pass to enter Malaysia.

Students have to arrive on the day of registeration. Upon arrival at KLIA or KLIA2 airport, applicant is advised to wait inside the arrival hall. International Section officers will meet applicant at the airport.
