Client Womens World Banking – Accra, Ghana Duration: 29 th September 2016 – 30 th November 2016 Project Description Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Agency Banking on mobile phone: Customize, Install and perform integration exercise for the named products with the Core banking system (Bankers Realm.Net). Customers can access the internet banking Platform at http://ib.wwbghana.com while also visiting their nearest agent to do withdrawals or deposits into their accounts without going to the branch. Customers can also access mobile banking App on iOS, Windows & Android (WWBG mobile) and if they have no smart phone, they can access same service on USSD. These applications are meant to provide convenience to customers by easy access to their finances. Customers can make deposits/withdrawals from wherever they are without going to the bank. They have to visit an agent nearest to them. POS solution customized in Spanish.

Project Description Loans on mobile phone:

Installation, customization, training & deployment of loans on phone platform whose backbone is on Elma Mobile banking platform that is available on all platforms from Android, iOS, Windows & Blackberry. Customers can make loan applications from wherever they are from their mobile phones and these applications will go through normal application process and approved by a loan officer.

Project Description Project Implementation and Support for:

Point Of Sale Terminal Banking: Using the POS terminals to enable clients in the rural area to access banking services. Also help cotton farmers to be able to bank easily during the cotton harvesting season (see SODECOTON- Maroua). SMS Banking: Allows Clients who are subscribed to SMS banking to do Balance Enquiries and get Alerts on transactions through the POS baking, any Credits or Debits on their accounts. Core System: BRNET + MSSQL database POS System: MSSQL to support operations

Project Description Project Implementation and Support for:

Point Of Sale Terminal Banking: Project dubbed “Moving Together” coined by the Afrigroupe (CCA) with the aim of reaching the Unbanked using the POS terminals. Clients of Moving Together Product can Make deposits, Withdrawals and Fund Transfers using software tailored by CraftSilicon Ltd loaded onto Terminals acquired from Ingenico Ltd. Internet Banking: Aims to allow current customers of CCA to subscribe to Internet Banking where they can do normal Transactions allowed by the MFI. SMS Banking: Allows Clients who are subscribed to SMS banking to do Balance Enquiries and get Alerts on transactions.

Project Description Launching USSD version of Remote Bank Account opening, Agency Mobile version of Remote bank account opening & Loans on Product for Jamiibora Bank Ltd Nairobi.

Remote Account Opening USSD version is intended to allow potential customers who have no bank accounts with Jamiibora bank to open for themselves bank accounts which they will be able to use for transactions. By keying in *344# on the Safaricom Network and following the instructions, one can open an account in less than 5minutes. Remote Account Opening agency version is intended to allow sales agents of the banks to go to the grass root level and aid potential customers open bank accounts. The agency version includes a jar file to be used on Nokia handsets pre-installed at the Bank’s Discretion on the agent’s phone. Loans on phone is a product by Jamiibora Bank that aims to lend jamiibora bank clients loans. I facilitated in the deployment and currently support of the product.

ACHIEVEMENT SUMMARY: Increase in customers banking using the Self-service products like Remote account opening with Minimal KYC. Customers can access nearest agent without visiting their bank branch. This has been rolled out on small scale shops in neighborhoods via the Umbrella, AGENCY BANKING. These agents are also connected to the Elma payment gateway and has seen number of transactions grow from 0 to 100,000 transactions per day with highest value example in Kenya = KES 500,000-1,000,000 worth in Airtimes and bill payments. With my years in Craft Silicon, I have maintained relationships with the clients I am assigned to therefore they find it easy to engage with me where issues arise and they will receive the support they need. This has also helped when company wants to pitch for new product releases as I am able to direct these innovations to the customer who will pitch on our behalf before we receive invitation for presentations.
