Simplified Practice Recommendations present in detail the develop-ment of programs to eliminate 'unnecessary variety in sizes, dimensions,models, and types of more than 135 commodities. They also contain listsof associations and individuals that have expressed their intention toadhere to the recommendations. These simplified schedules, as formula-ted and approved by industries 1
,are promulgated "by the Department of
Commerce. The complete history of any recommendation in "book form may"be obtained from the Superintendent of Documents at the prices shornherein.

However, lists of the simplified sizes, dimensions, and types,arranged in sheet form and especially adapted for the general useand files of foremen, storekeepers, engineers, architects, purchasingagents, and others, can he obtained, free of charge , from "the. Divisionof Simplified Practice, upon request.
