This list specifies works approved by Lloyd’s Register Group Limited (LR) for themanufacture of fusion welded pressure vessels in accordance with Lloyd’s Register Rulesand Regulations for the Classification of Ships, Part 5, Chapter 17. This List 12a applies toClass 1 approvals.
Manufacturers approved for Class 1 pressure vessels are also approved to manufacturerClass 2/1 and 2/2 pressure vessels within their scope of approval for Class 1.
The information listed for each works is a summary of the approval, and only covers themanufacturing location listed, it does not extend to other works owned by the samecompany.
The firms are retained on the list subject to regular satisfactory inspections, the results ofwhich are reported to LR.
The continuing process of approval and up-grading plus deletions means that this listrecords the status only at the time of printing.
Any queries concerning the validity of a particular approval can be obtained from thecurrent approval certificate issued to the manufacturer or by reference to the local office ofLloyd’s Register.
