Lisa actually started out in dental hygiene, but when you have a passion, you can’t keep it down. Hers was houses—she loved decorating, landscaping, architecture. She finally decided to follow her dream. She’s been a full-time Realtor for 15 years now and has never looked back.

To keep those referrals coming, Lisa has a “33 touch” system. The team reaches out 33 times a year with such gestures as client appreciation parties, small gifts, and phone calls to let clients know, for example, about important market or rate changes.

It’s just natural for Lisa to go above and beyond with her listings, too. She starts with a sphere of excellent service providers, if needed, and a professional stager to make the property stunning. A professional photographer shoots stills, videos and 3-D walking tours, which are scripted by professional writers. Lisa her-self does a personalized lead- in video to start off the virtual tour. Then she spreads the word on the MLS, KW Realty sites and specialized

luxury sites, all of which feed to hundreds of other sites for maximum exposure. Add to that daily posts on Facebook, newspaper ads, and prospecting for buyers in the office every morning, using the team’s sphere of influence and agent list. They door-knock in the neigh-borhood, too, inviting homeowners who might have relatives or friends in the market to the open house. Lisa and some of their properties are showcased on HGTV.

“We do everything we can to absorb the head-ache of what goes on behind the scenes so our homeowners don’t have to,” Lisa says. “I tell them, ‘There are three factors: condition, loca-tion, price. If you line these up, you’ll have a successful sale.’”

Of all the aspects of real estate Lisa loves, the best is helping people. “It’s surprising how emotional it can be to see someone’s dream come true,” she says. “There’s something really special about that.”

She finds something special in giving back to the community, too. Passionate about dog res-cue, she and her team donate a portion of each commission check to a shelter, Protectors of Animals. She also advocates for ovarian can-cer patients, holds seminars for the public to

learn about buying and selling property, and participates in her company’s annual service day.

When she’s not working, she and her husband love rehabbing their house! After their dog died in January, they created an entire land-scape based on the beautiful poem “Rainbow Bridge,” where animals who’ve passed on are said to wait for their owners. Lisa is also a pas-sionate golfer and loves to spend time with her family and friends.

In the future, Lisa wants to use the systems she’s built to create teams in other parts of the country as market centers that run themselves.

Meanwhile, she’ll continue helping anybody and everybody. She’s intent on changing peo-ple’s lives.
