Blocks of News, Scraps, and Threads of Information - FALL 2010
Dear Quilting Friends,
It’s back to school time again! We here at Primitive Gatherings have been working very hard to come up with some fresh new ideas to inspire, teach and entertain you with. Please take the time to read all of our great offerings we have put together to keep your quilting world spinning!
This newsletter goes through the end of the year, so it is packed with many events, quilt shows, bus trips, and everything a quilter needs to stay in trouble....
We will be releasing our new patterns and kits for sale on September 15th...These include Christmas Time Tablemat, I’ll be home for Christmas Quilt and tablemat and the Christmas Journal along with Garden Baskets and Lisa’s Flower Garden… and a few others that have yet to be named. We are cur-rently working on a little book of nine-patch quilts that we hope to have ready in late September, early October, so look for those items soon...I know you have all been so patient.
There are four big quilt shows this fall, Quilt Expo in Madison, WI , Quilt and Sewing Expo in Atlanta GA, AQS show in Des Moines, IA and Fall Quilt Market & Festival in Houston TX. I hope to see you at any of these great shows.
Also don’t forget about our Christmas Open House we have the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This has been a great event for our store and the gifts we give you are wonderful, so don’t miss out!
Piecefully,
Lisa Bongean & the staff at Primitive Gatherings

Chopped Romaine, Spinach or any type of leaf lettuce. Sliced strawberries Bananas cut about 1/2” Sliced red onion Sliced almonds
Dressing: I don’t really measure these ingredients exactly and it always turns out great, so just estimate while adding them to the blender or food processor. This will make about 2 cups of dressing. 1/2 cup light miracle whip 1/2 cup canola oil 1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup sugar Big squirt of horseradish mustard Big squirt of yellow mustard Splash red wine vinegar Tablespoon of poppyseeds
Mix in blender or food processor.
