MODULAR AFS A smart new concept

Machine design

The automatic line is made up of these modules:

- The servo-electric filling machine with drive, control and cylinder/valve unit.

- The filling station with one to four heads and anti-drip valve as well as diving mechanism (as option) and safety housing.

- The touchscreen for setting machine and conveyor belt functions.

- The conveyor belt with transport star, cleaning tub and bottle transfer station.

- The nozzles are mounted firmly at a given distance on the filling station and do not need tobe repositioned during changeovers.

- The transport star moves the bottles from the conveyor belt onto the transfer station, and afterfilling feeds them out onto the conveyor belt.

- During filling, bottles are not in contact with the conveyor belt. This provides a particularly safe and vibration-free bottle transport, a big benefit for lean and tall bottles.

Compact dimensions- The compact dimensions make the transport and set-up very easy.

- The modules fit through any door.- The small foot-print allows to place the machi-ne in rooms with space constraints.

Fully automatic filling lines with afilling range of 10 ml up to 10 l anda capacity of 1000 to 6000 pcs/hour

Changeover & cleaning- The conveyor belt has guide bars, which can be dismounted by two milled nuts. Each guide bar can be used for two bottle geometries by simply turning it upside down. No need to adapt the spacing between bars or the distance between nozzles as in traditional systems.

- The conveyor belt stays clean since it is not in contact with the bottles during filling.

- The transfer station has a smooth stainless steel surface and can be cleaned if required.

- To clean the pistons and filling nozzles, the nozzles will be lowered through openings in the transfer station into a designated tub. The rin-sing liquid will be discharged through a hose.

Load cell as option- To the volumetric dosing can be added a weight function. This allows to use gravimetric filling and to record the filling weight for each cycle. Also check-weighing can be implemented for the benefit of quality management.

Smartphone App as option- Monitoring the system by a smartphone App allows to analyze filling quantities per day or week and to track production progress in real time.

Touchscreen and parameters- For an optimal filling quality, all relevant para-meters can be selected on the touchscreen: Suction and dosing speed, acceleration and deceleration ramps, correction values and divingintervals.

- Filling parameters can be saved in a recipe memory and be activated after a changeover.

- A password protection helps to avoid any unauthorized overwriting of filling parameters.
