Friday 30 th June 2017 Africa Alive On Monday the whole school went on a fantastic trip to Africa Alive in a convoy of 5 coaches. All the children had a fantastic time enjoying close encounters with snakes in the discovery zone, talks about animals including lions, meerkats and otters, as well as seeing lots of other magnificent animals such as giraffes, rhinos and zebras. It was lovely to see all the children enjoying themselves and interacting and supporting each other so well. A massive thank you to all the staff and parent volunteers who gave up their time to give the children a lovely experience. I would also like to say a great big thank you to the FORS for all their fundraising and to you for supporting FORS events which made the visit possible.

Cluster E-Safety Day at Rackheath A final reminder about the E-Safety Day which is being held here on Monday 3rd July. This event is aimed at Year 1 to 4 children following the success of the previous event for Year 5 and 6 and Broadland High School. The Parent Workshop which will run from 6.30pm – 8.00pm and is open to ALL PARENTS from Reception up to Year 6. Parents who attended the previous workshop described it as “invaluable” and a “real eye-opener.” As a parent myself I found it incredibly powerful and useful and would urge you all to attend if at all possible.
